This song played on the day i married my Best friend. I will always have a smile on my face remembering that day. As it turns out I will always love my wife. What a feeling to be loved.
Taylor, I just wanted to say that this is my FAVORITE song by you.... Sweet and sultry, yet big and powerful! Beautiful song... Plus, I love your hair here! Very 1988... ;-)
I've always said that the 80s gave us two powerful female voices: Taylor Dayne and Gioia Bruno (Exposé). This shows the strength and tenderness that makes Taylor so awesome.
This was the first Taylor ballad I ever heard. I heard it several years after it became hit song, but I have loved it from since! I agree that the R&B tone to the song is what gave it the tenderness it has.
There is not one new song that even comes close to this tune....heres to the 80s, friends....>-I
