When I was a child (born 1945) several of Spike's records were resident in our home. I played them so often that I memorised them. Since then, I have managed to collect virtually all of Spike Jones band songs and musical pieces. And don't be misled: it takes a very good band to play so badly while still keeping the tune and cadence. And this was an excellent orchestra.

Too cool. When I was a kid I discovered my parent's Spike Jones records, along with some Beethoven records. I had it all! The family get-togethers were pretty musical and my uncle Walter would play the washboard (seen here with Spike). Thanks for the upload. Gotta send it to the family kids.
