What a waste Fat City has become. All the great places gone, no longer showcasing great acts such as this. Fat City was a mecca for original rock music. Now it is a mecca for Mexican culture. Fat City could be such a great entertainment capitol of Metairie, but the government has plans to turn it into some Disney-style shopping oasis. Why? We have a Walmart. What do we need another shopping area for?

NOLA used to have a GREAT underground metal scene. The highlight was around this time when metal, as we now know it today was in its infantcy. Anyone from NOLA remember the "Day of Rock and Roll" concerts? "Tips"? "The Warehouse"? I'll go way back, "The Riverboat President"? That's when NOLA was fucking awesome. Now its full of niggers and bums and all the cool places are gone and alot of good people are gone. I don't go there that often anymore because of the crime. Niggers ruin everything

Other than that now that the good bands either moved up north or left Louisiana there's almost no metal scene here

We have like 6 good metal bands (Demuredin, Marais Noir, Legions of Hoar Frost, Volatile, Ritual Killer, and Catholicon), but a ton (like almost over 20) of fuckin metalfail (metalcore) bands
