  • Yes.. This is KV447

    Allegro.. the 3rd movement

  • i have the sheet music too. its the rondo

  • this is the third one, the rondo

  • Listen to Mozart's piano concerto no.22 3rd mvt, the begining is pretty similar !

  • Exactly!

  • @flstylefull : Yeah. And even transitional phrases and the answers. The similarity to K.482 is pretty strong all the way through, although the latter is much longer.

Well, no one can claim that Mozart lacked for imagination or anything -- it's more likely that he was thinking of several ways to flesh out a common theme or he wasn't satisfied with this one or something. I think that's normal for a composer, whether in his day or today.

  • It remembers my childhood, and i dont know why.

  • Isn't this Rondo?

  • Yes, sometimes both the first and third movement are listed as Allegro. This is the third.

  • no its the second allegro

  • It's Rondo, actually--I have the sheet music :O)

  • I think its Baumann playing,

    such a beautiful sound!

Saterday I am gonna play this on a contest. Maybe I post a movie of it;)

  • I played this on BBb tuba for my final exam piece to graduate from the Armed Forces School of Music. Dennis Brain has one of the best recordings of this concerto. I modeled my tuba playing after Brain's recording.

  • thats funny, im playing this on an Eb tuba for a year 11 performance and had to research the piece

  • Given the character of Eb tuba sound I bet this sounds wonderful. Personally I prefer to Eb to F for overall sound characteristic. I hope you have a good recital.

  • Thanks for the kind words! im keen to do the piece a bit of justice.

  • Just buy the horn concerto and transpose. :)

  • just get the Eb part. its like 20 for all 4 concertos and concert rondo. and if you get the Eb horn, you can read it like an alto sax part.

  • @kawerty learn dat joint urself son... dis jon here 4 dem true music heaz w/an ear... believe dat

  • This is a fantastic concerto.

  • Who plays?

  • Hermann Baumann (?)

  • I love mozart. his horn pieces are just my style :]

  • This is Awesome!!!

  • I don't care who's playing it - it's fantastic, also I'm busy playing it myself and the tone produced here is invaluable in assisting me. BRAVO!!!!

  • like all of mozart's horn concerts ,simple but melodious and delicious, long liva mozart

  • i have plsyed that for my exam great piece

but i played it with horn and piano

i think it´s pretty hard to play exactly right

  • Who's playing the horn?

  • I love it
