Well I dunno about hardcore but on hard (which seems to be quite similar to hardcore anyways) I beat Sekundes handily on level 70 with no indignation used (I loathe to use it because I have it on my healer and Keele ends up falling dead every time when I tries to extricate Meredy from healing duty to cast indignation instead). Just control max, spam Aqua Spiral and Rising Phoenix, and keep your team on both sides of Sekundes.

LOL the battle is in hardcore, and with the eternal sword no cause much damage, remember sekkundes is the grether craymel of time, the eternal sword is a weapon of time lol

If you use a spectacles, it shows that he doesn't have any strengths or weaknesses. So it really doesn't matter which weapon you use, you'll always do almost no damage as he blocks all physical attacks.

@AisakaNoTaiga Eww, Meredy is such a bad choice for Indignation. It's better to use Keele for the expanded version since his voice acting is better in that situation.

Lastly even on normal mode at LV 70+ use a all divide to live longer.

pretty much the same thing if you use reverse dolls and all-divide. indignation makes it easier, using those two items makes it easier just the same

i got a combo for farah not really one of her combos.. my personal combo

use chi then the skill when she jumps high and gve like 4 hits kick i think its eagle dive then just do that over and over again when sekundes HP is 30000(i think or is it 60k?) use keele to cast indignation :)

and use reid to do burnig phoenix

Sekundes is one of the ''Supreme craymels''.

One you get to Sekundes he will not immediatly challange you to a fight. (Like every other Craymel)

Instead, he simply joins your Craymel cage.

If you have advanced far enough and are confident in your skills, simply go back and Sekundes will ask you if you desire to fight him.

If you battle him, make sure you have a couple of essential things.

- Nurse

- Indignation

- Level 70+

- Thunder-element Weapons's

(Example: Strike axe)

Once the battle starts, have Nurse constantly cast. (Or any other healing spell. I chose ''Nurse'' because it heals every party member on the field regardless of position and it's fast.)

Keep yourself on constant healing.

Because you do not want Sekundes giving you his triple ''Sekundes-laser''. That's (In my opinion) one of the cheapest moves in the intire game. He shoots Sekundes-laser three times, depleting you of your HP and giving you no time to heal or attack.

The skills of Sekundes are by far his worst. He doesn't excel you when it comes to close-combat. Keep Reid/Chat/Farah slashing him all the time.

If you have electric weapon's equiped you will damage him greatly and you will give Keele and/or Meredy more time to cast their spells. So slow him down. (Sekundes, you will notice, won't be knocked back/down by any of your moves. You can't stop him from reaching your spell-casters but you will surely slow him down.)

Once Sekundes reaches 1/2 (Or 1/4) of his HP, (Depending on what difficulty you're playing)

Cast ''Indignation''

Who ever is casting Indignation will say:

''Heaven's light shine!''

''Gates of Hell, open your passage!''

''Strike! Lightning of the Heaven's!''

And Sekundes will be destroyed immediatly.

This ''prolonged'' version of indignation will only work once his HP goes past a surtain level and will only be shown in the battle with Sekundes.

Many people ask if this prolonged Indignation is obtainable. ''No'', It is not. They just made it for the battle with Sekundes so you could enjoy his defeat even more with an ''Grand-finale''

PS: Hourglass will not work on him, nor will his own ''Distortion'' move.

That is Dhaos, they changed the name to make him look more cool, and mysterious. And since this game didn't really linked with ToP, I guess the change was necessary. As for the Indignation surprise, I'm not going to tell you about it,you can find out for yourself.

I normally have Keele/Meredy use Nurse and Indignation repeatedly. One or the other, I can't have both of them in this match. Then have Max use Elemental Master over and over and over. Have Reid and Farah out as distractions so he won't annihilate the living crap out of Max and Keele/Meredy. >_> My strat works fine, eh.

always try to put sekundes in-between the 2 meleee characters in this formation, so that sekundes can only attack 2 characters most of the time (exceptions would be because of sekundes corridor and if sekundes got out ot being sandwiched by 2 melees). all-divide will greatly help since it reduces his damage more than yours. if in default difficulty, cast indignation on him when he has less than 1/2 hp for a surprise :D (less than 1/4 hp for hard and 1/8 for mania)

you can try putting 2 melee (usually reid and farah )and 2 magic casters (most likely keele and meredy, though good max users can use max too), and have a melee character on opposite sides like this formation: magic-user, melee, melee, magic-user, and set them far apart equally.

no need to max stats or have levels beyond 75+ in order to beat him, but he sure is very tough! maxing stats is the lamest method for beating any boss, so i usually try to fight the boss with the lowest level possible (a not too low lvl68-70 in my case).

Your defense and offense is bad. You need to train, seriously! Using Max to stand in the back to use Elemental Master over and over and over is a wise plan, while having Rid/Reid using Omega Demon Chaos and Sonic Chaos repeatdedly. Have Farah use a Eagle Rage + Chi + Maximum Burst combo, even though Maximum Burst will NOT stun him, it will still inflict damage on him. Have Keele/Meredy use Holy Lance, Meteor Swarm, or Dark Force over and over and over again would work too.
