@Steunafisch You definitely won't regret it. I spent only two years there for grad school, and I feel like more of a Hokie than I feel like part of my undergrad degree. There's just something about Blacksburg... it's a real college town... and the people there really are like a family, regardless of the quite large size of the school and student body. I hope you enjoy your stay. And don't worry, it doesn't rain every day... but it does stay windy and can get sorta cold in the winters...
Sorry to hear that, but hopefully you'll be there in the fall! Yeah, it is a decent-sized town. Not too small, not too big. Still has that country, small-town feel, but you have Christiansburg and Roanoke very close, so it's not like you can't get anything you need at any given time by taking a short trip. They just finished a new shopping center on South Main too, so it's really the perfect little college town. I'm graduating with my M.A. next month, so I won't be there, but best of luck!
Wow...Blacksburg certainly is bigger than I expected. Unfortunately I got my transfer application rejected by Virginia Tech this semester so I'm going to have to wait until next semester to transfer. Go Hokies! ^^

Yeah unfortunately I accidentally put January 2007 at the beginning of the video for the date, but it was filmed Jan. '08.

Can't say for sure. I'm a grad student, so I live off campus. I'm sure someone with student services or something could get you some info though.
