  • @STGHAF not really, having alots of cars is nice, but when you let them rot like this and dont sell them to people who could fix them, thats being fucking idiot :/

  • this is sad..all those cars have a story to tell and no ones listening!

  • American legacy

  • Nice, most cars like that would have been crushed years ago. What a gold mine of parts. Great video, thanks.

  • Restore? Sure, if you have money to burn. All these cars are scrap. No more, no less.

  • @gregwddriver

Truer words were never spoken----I was thinking the exact same thing.

  • So many project cars to have fun with.. damn man this is like car porn for me.

  • @Epicsabres I was wondering why no one just came along and took them and did them up. What a waist!

  • So how about that.everybody takes some mony we punsh the owner of the junkyard in the face and then we get all these nice cars and restore them so the generation after us can see how very nice cars look like. Also we can build some newer engines in the cars so its not to expensive when getting soe fuel

  • I just wonder about how long these care would be running around on the streets before they would end up here in the junk yard. I have known people whow keep them for about 10-15 years and once the engine is dead then they take them to the junk yard.

  • 6:08 chevy bel air, i must have it with or without wheels

  • cars from today, will last alot longer in a junk yard!!,hard for plastic to rust away

  • it is like i'm watching a ww2 documentary...

  • Anybody see see those '63 and '64 Chev SS 409's???

  • hey is that powder blue 1967 mustang for sale at 0.07

  • Beautiful! I love junkyards from the 60's and 70's! Easily brings you back to better more pleasant times. I could just walk through these yards all day long (but not at night though, too scary for me!).

  • Awesome!

  • I'm from GR, Mich. Would love to go explore here. Love the old cars. Used to explore at Joe's in Spring lake. Thanks for sharing. Any idea what will happen with these old beauties?

  • kinda sad.. would want some of those cars

  • A TRUE 'FUNNY CAR GRAVEYARD'

  • This would make a better pension plan than anything you can get on Wall-street these days...

  • Christine's friends......

  • i guess this is what cars will look like after the world ends

  • IT APPEARS BY THE CARS IN THE VID THE NEWEST CAR I SAW WAS THAT 1972 OR 73 MAVERICK DO YOU HAPPEN TO KNOW WHAT YEAR IT ACTUALLY CLOSED.

  • @JIMMYAD46 80's ford ranger @ 2:25

  • i would have fun asking if he has any cars forsale

  • There's a place like this in CT, there's even an old ladder truck from some fire dept. I'll see if I can find the picture of it.

  • Thanks being an old car freak, ran my own salvage wrecker service business for 25 years out of Charlotte NC ! Every day was Xmas ! Drfox Hi all !

  • @ xcape455, was the property owner you talked to the HILLBILLY type ?, i've met those types before. They say they still have plans to fix the cars but have never done Shit to none of em other than letting everything sit & Rot for the past 30 or 40 years. I'm an old car buff whose owned several old Muscle Cars over the years, and seeing all these old cars Rotting IS A DISGRACE !!

  • kinda scary

  • SUBBED!

  • i was looking for a spot to put my treestand and found a 1934 chevy pickup all the way down in the holler after i pulled it up with the tractor i spent about 4 years on it and now i got it back to as close to factor condition as possible

  • @75mxracer I hope you took progress pictures... Post them

  • @godbluffvdgg i did but my old laptops harddrive crashed and i lost everything

  • good shape

  • Most of em would Buff up nice.

  • it could be music from "delerium - spheres 1-2 " ?

  • I have been there 3 times, most of all the good stuff is gone But it is really cool seeing all the history. The owner will sell you parts , or whole cars. No deals to be had here. Most every thing is twice the price of ebay stuff. The guy is over 80 years old.

  • All I need is a rollback & a chainsaw plus a huge building to put them all in! :)

  • Why did no one not interested in them after all this beautiful piece of automotive legend. have no value in the U.S.?

  • qual o nome desta musica ou de quem é?????

  • ill take the mustang and the hudson please :)

  • whats the song playing during the start of the video? =)

  • Can anyone tell me what car is on 2:54? Thnx!

  • @neos2003 54' Hudson hornet (just a guess but it's a starting point)

  • cool

  • can i have the radios from these cars???

  • @mp1101ful Im sure my great uncle Irve would sell you every single one!!! Yes ,..the owner is my relative.Theres a lotta history to this place the owner and the cars in it.Its more of a collection than"just a junk yard".He owned a body shop for well over 70 years and only did insurance work.Irve was always known to be the nice old guy thatll give you a few bucks for your unwanted vehicle.

  • Just think most of those cars were someones pride and joy when they were new.

  • Is this yard in Mid-Michigan?

  • love the music and pics! ty for uploading! what is the name of the song?

  • половину восстановить можно, машины очень красивые:)

  • I wonder how many of these cars do not exist any more ?

  • where is this?

  • I almost cried

  • These are next generation's fossils.

  • What a waste!

  • Grandpa died and this is what he left us...

  • whare is this at im planing to go to michigan this year?

  • i live here in michigan and i like the old cars and its hard to find parts for them and you see that there is a place like this and it is heart breaking to see all of those old cars and parts rotting into the ground like that i wish poeple like myself could go there and buy parts for there old cars or maybe buy a whole car to restore instead they will set there and rot and fade away while poeple could put them to use

  • To the Ford Mustang, That's what you get for being ugly, and not being able to go around corners. What is this Curve in the road? I don't think I can make. It drives by, understears, crashes in a tree, and dies. great yet very true reality.

  • @PROWLERSUPERCARS A mustang does NOT understeer it has OVERSTEER! I have 3 cobras and handle like they are on rails!

  • STRAIGHT RAILS

  • Comment removed

  • They could auction this stuff off and make lots of money..just saying

  • i bet u that forest used to be some sort of parking lot back in the day because those cars at 3:26 were perfectly lined up

  • when i die this is my heavon except with a big garage with every tool and part to rebuild all of them :)

  • They were tired old rusted appliances when sent to that yard, some have been well stripped of parts. No hope for any of these as they have been sitting in mud and leaves up to the axles for so many years. There is a fairly new fwd engine and trans shown on a pile, so the yard must have been active long after most of the cars were deposited there.

  • Will the owner sell any cars and or would he/she sell the land?

  • its just sad :(

  • I love stumbling onto old cars in the woods, those are in good shape lots of expensive hard to find treasures. I wish i lived in that time, next to poncharello and john chips highway patrol. I miss the big cars even though they are death traps, as demonstrated with the 1956 bellair crashtest

  • probably the nicest wood ever!

  • What kind of car is @ 2:56 ??

  • great place to shot an horror movie

  • i want all the 50's american cars as they look better than most modern cars

  • May these cars R.I.P. I know these cars are now in a better place(heaven) looking down at us.:'(

  • I had a 1964 and a 1965 Corvair. Tons of memories here.

  • I am looking with pain in my hart!!

  • I could never understand the mentality of just letting these relics rot. Part them out, save the salvageable engine blocks, like the 396, 454, 455, 351 etc. Resto-Mods are a growing industry. The after market parts industry is big and complements a rebuild but there's nothing like a junkyard find that makes the build better. A VIN that is restored from the past is so custom, what a shame to see these cars and trucks disintegrate.

  • What a waste :(

  • What exactly is this guy waiting for? The parts are turning to rust, scrap is at an all time high, maybe time to catalog the cars, scrap the worthless ones, and part out the remainders? There is a much smaller one just like this outside of Morgantown WV, I don't understand it.

  • Also, who every owns all these are complete idiots in a sense somebody could make damn good money on selling parts. Alot of these cars are really rare.

  • Its sad really. If vehicles had feeling, which some think they really do have, these would be crying like an animal at the shelter.

  • Every dog has its day.Good to the bitter end.

  • Dibbs on the Gremlin!

  • The rare hard to find cars that are in there i would try to save if i had the cash. but this place has so many hard to find parts that would bring a pretty penny.

  • A lot of people say what a waste this is, but mostly all of these were beyond restoration anyway, time to give them a rest, the Mustang at the beginning looks restorable though.

  • I wish you could walk up to each of them, plug in a usb cable and download it's entire history.

  • @judgegixxer thats the idea of s title

  • A tear in the eye of the spins

  • One Question: Why would some1 abadon so priceless cars in a quite good condition? :(

  • @TheBlackCoupe You ought to google Collier Motors in N.C. This idiot owned a AMC dealership and abandoned, not abused cars, but new cars ON THE LOT for now 40ish years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Love car porn!

  • mmm... standard front yard in Alabama.

  • oh boy look at all that gold!

  • @450whitetail Most (if not all) are beyond restoration. This is just photo history.

  • @NewChannels I don't completely agree, but even so, forget restoration, there's 120 acres of rare & valuable parts.

Hey @xcape455 has the owner ever heard of the internet, Craig's list or Ebay?

  • what a shame this is.there are guys that would love to restore one of these or just be able to aquire the parts.whats wrong with people?

  • I'm from italy, sorry for my bad english..

I have a question: what kind of utilization had this place in the past?

We call it a "wrecking yard" or an "(auto) salvage yard".

It's a place to buy and sell used auto parts. In this one, rare auto parts.

  • the videos of abandoned cars in dubai make me sad

  • WTF

  • At 4:47 that Dodge Aires or Plymouth reliant is next to a 69 Firebird in Olympic gold! not a 70s Lemans at all!

  • plymouth aries

  • 0:13 GHOST!

  • At 4:47 did anyone notice the what seems to be an early 80's boxy grey car next to the brown 70's Pontiac LeMans? Can't tell what it is. What's an 80's car doing in a classic car junkyard? Even though 80's cars are starting to become classics them selves.

  • most of it is way too gone

  • This guy is siting on a gold mine and probably doesn't even realize it. The windows and taillights are worth mega bucks for restoration buffs, not to mention what the other parts, doors, fenders, etc are worth.

  • тупые жирные американцы!

  • There was a tree growing out of a car where the engine is supposed to be. XD

  • Some see junk, I see possibilities.

  • If i was the person that owned this I would have a day where I invited collectors and the general public to come in and give me offers on the cars. Might make an okay amount of money.

  • Some rare finds there, Edsel s, a Hudson, a Corvair, panel van, etc, some are goners, but looks like some good resto candidates too.

  • what a cool backyard,sell nothing

  • joder que pena de coches

  • i live in michigan. and would love 2 walk around that place are you able 2 say where it is located?

  • WHY GOD WHYYYYYYY!? D'x

  • would be nice to contact with the owner ,then would buy something to restore :)

  • mator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • I hate prudes like that who have several thousands of dollars in wonderful cars and refuses to sell them to people who will give those poor cars what they need!

  • im sure most of these cars are beyond repair. but plenty of good parts thats for sure. you got to remember people, they were brought to the junk yard for a reason. being in michigan im guessing the frames were rusted out.

  • Pics from Chip Foose's nightmare???

  • what a fucking waste!!

  • big tree groving out of the car at 3:55

  • song name please

    ?

  • there are freaking mustangs....

  • I wish I owned that land, I would retire next year...

  • Looks just like an old junkyard I almost bought in North Carolina. I fly a helicopter, and there are a lot more hidden junk yards than you would realize!

  • @tazaxx21 amen, brother! There are some unbelievable treasures rusting away all over the country and I've seen a bunch of them. One day, America's highways are going to be beatified once again with the rusty wheels brought back to life. Let's don't vote in another enviro-nazi Democrap president again by voting right in 2012.

  • @chaimyamin

I couldn't agree more.America would take decades to create new Manufacturing jobs, since all the factory buildings were melted down and sent to China in metal cubes.

Everything we use is made and copied by them, cheaply made. The Europeans have already gotten back most of their cars, whatever wasn't trashed yet or went to waste.

It's time everybody in this country would wake up, get off their but and get to working again and not just killing time on the job.

    Not gonna

  • @sixpoint3 Americans can and are very willing to work. For the most part, theyr'e not sitting on their butts, they are up against a rock & hard place on their backs thanks to the pro-envirocommie government. The Europeans have or have not gotten it back, depending on which country wer'e talking about. Greece, for instance, may have lost it for good. England is about to put the CP back in power, but even so, when all is back normal in 2013, we got a few years yet, sad to say.......

  • they should put picnic tables there so people can eat ham sandwiches and enjoy the cars

  • my soul just cried!

  • Wow, that is sad to see, Id love to get my hands on some of those, but to each their own. It just sucks to see these old cars waste away.

  • Man,you're lucky you weren't killed there by some cannibalistic mountain men!

  • 0:19 KILLS MY HEARTTTTTTTTTTTTT

  • That’s really amazing, thanks for sharing! I have a 70 Chevelle and love the classics too, this is almost hard to watch. Counted about half a million in eBay parts right there… damn!

  • wow..theres alot of muscle out there..damn..

  • man i'm from belgium and i'd die for a mustang :(

  • @abk1ng well americans don't realize how good we have it..... hell we complain about 3 bucks a gallon while in europe gas can get as high as 15 USD a gallon. welcome to america!

  • And all I'm looking for is a 1967 Chevy 2 Two door! Have a donor C6 Corvette for my parts... Someday!

  • omg what is wrong people who would leave them there i want them

  • rip to to all of them. my eyes are actually tearing up. open the damn place up for christs sake!! ive seen similiar graves like this and their buisiness' are striving. 6:34 pic...73 t-bird taillights and that opera window!!! omg...i gotta have a smoke!

  • rip to those cars

  • just to stupid to leav them there. WHY & why...sad sad ting to do.

  • 2:36

    Is the light on? 0o

  • @JoNniixD flashbulb

  • Anyone knows the name of the car in 0:32?

There are some of my favourite cars, RIP :'(

  • @JoNniixD It's a Lincoln, somewhere between '49 and '51

  • @JoeBob1955 Thank you!

  • @JoNniixD My dad said he didn't know what Lincoln is was, Cosmopolitan, sport sedan? but best guess was a 1951 Lincoln head lights and bird on the hood, grill, but the No split window is throwing him off? But the 1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan was his best guess! I hope that help's? :D

  • @Jesshamilton1 Thank you very much!

  • Dude who owns this probably has a small fortune in scrap.

I love old cars too but these here are beyond help.

  • The Plymouth at 5;26 looks pretty solid . even the floors ,door jams look good. But to bring a car back from that state is pure love . My 68 Charger wasnt quite there but close .Shes almost done now but you will never get your money or your time back. but hey , thats not why we do these cars is it boys

  • 0:40 Ford Failane 500 1961? or is it a 1963?

If it's a -61.... was in Classic Car Week in sweden (Rättvik) 2011 didn't see a single 1961 except a custom Sunliner :/

However, i got a 1961 Fairlane :D but as usual i need spare parts
