Actually the boring things of Need for Speed Underground series is that they dont have a cops! Umming...... the worst game in the Need for Speed that Ive ever played, is a Pro Street and the Shift -_-;; COPS X, CHASING X, ONLY RACING without a free run just like a underground series. You do have a good point, I never played the NFS games, the ones before underground, but I've seen gameplay videos. But I liked the street racing era in their series, although, since Most Wanted, the term ''Street Racing" became more diluted. And there aren't many good street racing games in the market (that I know of) Midnight Club Los Angeles was awesome. If anyone knows any other street racing style games for Mac (intel) PSP and Xbox360 please tell me, its my favorite sub-genre for gaming ;)

I think it is more of a test. If they sell the same amount or more of the game then they will continue with this type of racing. However if they do not sell as much or their profit is lower they will probably go back to street racing again.

Why MW?

- The cop chases were unpredictable, you never knew if you gonna make it thru or you got busted

- The cops were aggressive and hard to shake them loose at a certain heat level..

- The Pursuit OST was perfect, it will give you goosebumps if you listen it thru a headset (preferable with ear muffs)

- There was is an decent story on it, with nice cutscenes etc.

That's why I think EA should give it a try to make a game like MW.. and off course.. hire Linford for the Pursuit OST :P
