My view is that he is playing better and better as he gets older, his play gets more melodic, less frantic. Its just amazing to listen to...

He took drog,only two place those people and up, dead or in jail.Thank God he ended in jail, maybe had rehab.

If I'm not mistaken, he was involved in some bar / street fight and he ended up taking out someone's eye or inflicted some other form of bodily injury. He didn't go to jail because of a narcotics infraction. That's the version I read in some Dutch magazine.

Well, now Don't be so hard on yourself. If you had as many relatives that played guitar as he does, you would have learned a lot quicker. Gypsies also are more talented at music than most people, but that is just my opinion. (I am not a Gypsy, by the way) These guys start playing when they are about 5 or 6. Jimmy was very good when he was only 13. The same for Bireli.
