I am Canadian. In American History class, i was expressing a certain point i felt was necessary to put out. If Nazis had won WWII, or it had ended with Hitler's Germany being 'victorious', i honestly think it would'nt be that bad. Ofcourse everybody flipped their shit and called me a Nazi, pissing me off. I fucking HATE Hitler and everything he did. But politically, it would be fantastic and peaceful, which is what i was trying to express. I do not support Nazism, and made that clear. Thoughts?

The plot of the whole movie is that a particular WW2 vet named Ryan pays respects to the heroics of his rescuer Captain John Miller, established by the intro of the movie at the cemetery. Therefore, in the movie, we only follow Captain John Miller throughout this movie, who happens to be serving for the US as they land on Omaha. The plot and therefore the action follows just him and his men as they go on a mission.

@drummerguy195 i was really sad when doctorguy (thats what i call him lol) died because my grandfather served all 6 years and was in MedCorps for the first couple. i think: "damn, doctorguy held out, and is probs my favorite character because he reminds me of my grandpa (who died in 77 so i never met him) and paratrooped on Juno for DDay. DoctorGuy was ballsy, and always tried to save a life.for some reason i connected with him really well but idk why. i liked all the characters though :)
