Alot of people here are hating on the new drummer and wishing for Atom. This new drummer guy is supposed to be some musical prodigy, AVA is lucky to have him. But more than likely AVA is just a stepping stone for him as he starts his career, hes like 21. Who knows what he may accomplish or do, even at his young age hes as good as or maybe even better than Travis.

Angels and airwaves isnt good anymore...LOVE PT 2 is their worst album, they shouldve stopped after I-Empire...I dont get why their still making music really...their last album every song sounds the same with all the same melodies/choruses in previous songs because Toms ran out of ideas, such a dry album...please tom focus on what you grew up playing with Blink-182 because the shit with ava is becoming a drag and is now very annoying...Blink is where you need to be so for the love of god.

Listen to Last Train Home by the Lost Prophets, and tell me that this drummer doesn't have a background in music that deals with searching for a purpose. I think he'll fit in great. We'd all rather have Atom, he's the original, but this won't be the end all be all of AvA, I assure you that.
@TheGamerTDawg Actually Ilan, the new drummer, did not drum for Lostprophet's "Last Train Home." He only did "For All These Times Son, For All These Times" and "Everybody's Screaming!!!" on Liberation Transmission and then the whole album called, The Betrayed. Though he may not have been around for "Last Train Home," I agree he will probably do a great job overall.

We haven't seen much from him, but we all know he's full of talent. He's very young with a beyond impressive career already. He's in the band for a reason :)

This kid is an amazing drummer and was the youngest person to play woodstock at age 10 or 11. Check out his work - he is amazing. Plus, since when is a drummer supposed to say anything unless he is about to spontaneously combust?
@Timothykakashi That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. My opinion remains unchanged. Blink's single Up All Night has AvA written all over it. If I were David Kennedy, Matt Wachter, and lan Rubin (formerly Atom Willard) I'd start looking for other opportunities. I could be wrong, I hope I am, but the writings on the wall.
This is the greatest band of this time. Everything that they produce and play comes from the heart and almost anyone can relate to. I have loved Tom forever and loved Blink, but these guys take it to a whole new level. Everything comes straight from their hearts and it just hits you. Cannot wait to listen to you guys for years to come!
