NHL despite padding puts people to death, throats get cut with skates and in 1989 a goalie almost bled out on the ice on live television with thousands watching when the artery in his neck was cut. So i could show that and easily trump this video. A good example would the common, but brutal, hits that are given rather then accidents.

it all comes down to money, if you invest shit loads of money into something you dont want it damaged and AFL is a fast game, a lot of playing on with no stupid offside rule. they have to be able to move freely and quickly
