Do the Shibito stay down in this game? They look dead once they get attacked/shot. Wish that happened in the PS2 version. Also, did they get rid of the sightjacking ability or does this person playing just know exactly what to do?

I hate this evil game, I really do, its so fun, but so scary however it pulls you back in to get horrified.

I can honestly say it is the ONLY survival horror to scare me.

Especially that one room with the mirror, if you stay in there to long you die. I swear I freaked so many people out with that one, oh the giggles. Makes me nostalgic just thinking about it.

I play Hardcore on COD, i used Ranger Hardcore in Metro 2033... i like games that are realistic, and most of the time when they are they get insane reviews. :P I admit, some games should not be realistic, but they are more challenging when they are.

They are based off actual military simulation technology used to train military personal. Admittedly, they are not entirely realistic for obvious reasons; but they come pretty close to it. Americas Army is free on Steam if you are interested.

I think if they implemented a good death system, one shot kills (Not appear dead on the floor like CoD), I'm talking shit like limbs, guts getting chopped up and that as you drop down dieing, and same with the AI, I think they could improve so much with games. But..you know obviously that's my personal opinion, and i'm sure a lot of people would agree with me here.

Well look at Lucarrioismyrealname's previous comment, he's saying CoD is realistic.

Say that to the bullshit high sales CoD gets, most gamers want a casual experience, hardcore games combat sims (Arma and Operation Flashpoint forexample) struggle to sell a million sales. BECAUSE most people want a casual experience and not play a game that kills you in a bullet or two.

Zombies and shibito's aren't realistic anyways, so why bother making survival horror realistic.

ordered this game. pain in the ass to get. But, looking forward to it after playing the demo. The only thing I didn't like was there was no free motion of the camera. I thought to have sight and movement attached to one joystick slightly awkward. Nonetheless, freaky atmosphere and the creatures in the game freak the piss out of me.

@SiIXEN037 Dead Space wasn't made to BE realistic in any way, plus it's a different engine, which allows more detailed animations and physics in Siren Blood Curse.

Just imagine Isaac trying to get away from the Necromorphs with the Siren engine, he wouldn't have the time...

FINALLY! This could be the first true survival horror game I've seen in years. Ever since RE4 came out there has been nothing but action games with horror elements. This game is actually a survival horror game
