For me the best way to to fish a suick is slow, even in summer. I rip it but only pause long enough to reel in the slack line. All the action is in the tail. I like to bend it down about 25 degrees. This makes it dive deeper. Then I like to bend one half of the tail down and to the side a little further. This gives it a wobbling action on the dive. That wobble is key. I will be posting part II soon. Check it out I talk about using suicks over weeds.
yeah I agree with rustyman, casting suicks is like casting a popsicle stick!

never had good luck with suicks, i hate the way they cast. What is the best way to fish these? I tried the rip and pause with no luck.
