interesting, not thought about doing hayanuki etc standing up, but no reason not to. I usually also do tsume ai no kurai kneeling... any reason for standing up? Maybe to let the audience see better? just curious...
We choose tachi waza over tatehiza for two main reasons:
1) even though the stage was off the ground, it was a big open space and we wanted everyone to be able to see
2) one of our guys has a bad knee

Wow chuden hayanuki in standing version instead of in tate hiza. Nice move & so fluid, even with such a long shinken.
The Tsume Iai kumitachi in also wonderful. Thanks for the video & Texas Komei Jyuku !
