Hey so, I have a V6 1998 Mustang. I don't know if you're a mechanic or not lol but it's still a single exhaust. And I plan on keeping it that way. All you guys can shut up. BUT! If I put on just A flowmaster Super Flow 44 should I get the same sound as the one that I'm hearing from your V6????
@ChriSMyerS941 Ummm...I'm not a mechanic or anything, so I'm not entirely sure. BUT! I feel it's safe to say that a Super 44 will sound a whole lot better than stock!
Putting a Flowmaster on my Jeep was the best thing I ever did. It's great to start up every time and just have that feeling like "Damn this sounds sweet"
I put the same 44 series on mine, but I went with true dual. I have a video on my page also. Mine were a total of $530. Your's sound pretty good though.
You went to a shop? I'd rather get someone who is car smart....that'd do it real cheap. It's just installation and it can't be more than 100 bucks. It's just welding pretty much.
It's present, but not ridiculously bad, from about 62-75mph. Easily forgettable with some music on, and not so loud so that it is difficult to talk while in the car.
does your mommy know you've been reving the shit out of her mustang again?

Thanks for the video, it's exactly the sound I want from a v6. I just ordered it today, only 86 bucks too.

@defmex18 Nah, I had a friend who has a lift do it. I don't know how much it would cost, but he told me that it was a pretty easy job.

Can i just put 44 flowmasters on my v6 and it'll sound like that?
defmex18 1 year ago
@defmex18 Yep, it's just the muffler. All the other piping is stock.

@pimpz888 Thanks man! Haha It sounds pretty beastly for just the muffler.

You just changed the muffler?
Finedotwrx 2 years ago
Yes. I backed into something and bent the stock muffler out of place...and I just replaced it with the Super 44.
TheMightyKazooist 2 years ago
And you get a sound like that from just a muffler? NICE
Finedotwrx 2 years ago
Yeah! And I've gotten lots of compliments on it being the best sounding six-cylinder guys have ever heard...so I certainly have no complaints.
