Eldar uses wings, which are sword class, while the Wing Knights use spears, which are polearm class. Polearm class (lances, halberds, spears) is strong against sword class (swords, blades and rapiers).
On super hard mode this level was pretty nasty as far as I remember. The wing knights could kill most of my force in one hit so I had to be really clever about who I placed in their path. Made for an awesome challenge though (and a good distraction from A-level revision!)
Also, because I played the japanese version I didn't know my way around all the menus particularly well - as such I didn't know characters could change weapon in-battle! That one'll come in handy ;)
I've been watching your lets play series with interest, its been a while since I played through scenario 1, but something just occurred to me, you seem to be missing Ratchet. Did you miss picking him up in the Vandal Mansion?
You don't get Ratchet until Chapter 4. I got him in the mansion, the screenshots for which were posted in the SA thread, but we don't get to actually use him until before the cave.
Oh please, I must know, the opening where you placed dude's head in the corner while another video of the charity played. How do you do that? I have only windows movie maker and Adobe Premiere 6. I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance and keep up the videos! It's guys like you that keep out Let's Play community going!
Using Premiere, it's not too hard. It's an animated gif, so I just copy and pasted it a bunch of times to have the animation loop. Just put whatever footage you want into a different track, and then click on it in the preview window to the right. Drag it to the correct size, and it will overlay over your existing footage. That's really all there is to it, just use the separate video tracks.
Same principle. You put Video 1 in one track, and video 2 in another, resize video 1 and position it where you want it. If you want to say, cut a character out of existing footage and super-impose him into another scene, that's a lot trickier. You have to go through a process called chroma-keying, which I'd recommend reading up on.
Edmund Blackadder maybe? Probably not but you never know...

That little message on the bottom of the screen in the beginning is a statement I could never agree more with.

Yay disco ball of death :)
The reason wing knights are strong vs Eldar is that the wing counts as a sword type of weapon and they happen to be using spears.

Outstanding work so far on Scenario 1, sir! I actually check every day to see if the next battle has been posted.
Speaking of which, when we will see your rendition of battle 16?

TotalHalibut, do you plan on making videos for all the battles in Scenario 2 and 3 as well as the Premium Disc? Keep up the good work!

Cool, it really has been far too long since I played this. Think I'll go pick up a new battery so I can save again.

ok that helps. One more thing. Say for example I want to cut a part of video 1 (a character jumping up and down) and place it into video 2.
I cant get the first part of it down.

To tell the truth, im completely lost. Thank you anyways for trying to help.
If you do know of any tutorial site for Adobe Premiere 6 then that might help. Maybe im jumping to far into something i dont truly understand yet.
Thanks again.
