This happened to me in Mass Effect 2 with Jacob. I ordered him to go to cover and he yelled "GOING TO GROUND!" and then walked down to the ground.

I got stuck on top of one of the cars in ME2, and another time, I got trapped in a metal beam going straight up, and every time I would sprint, it would raise me higher up, until I hit the ceiling. had to reload from a checkpoint both times.

Sometimes my game freezes, i tend to fix it by turning off my controller and waiting for a while. When I turn the controller back on, I can move again.
