Dazzle DVD Recorder Test on PSP -Dissidia Demo- Sephiroth

I'm thinking the same thing, how can you record this? I want to record me kicking Chaos's butt using Terra, but I don't know how.

@FinalGuardianYuna First you'll need either a 2000 or 3000 model. Then you'll need PSP av (Yellow, Red and White) cords. You plug them in to the Dazzle and record. However, Thanks to Dissidia 012's quest creation, you can actually save replays of battles featuring Chaos. Just create a quest and have Chaos as your opponent. Play the quest and save the replay as you normally would. Simple and really good if you wanna show off your fights with Chaos.

How did you record your psp with your dazzle???!!! I have a dazzle, and psp av cables, but it wont work!!

Ok so let's say I have a Dazzle (I may buy it depending how it works...) and I want to record some PSP gameplay videos, what exactly do I need to do for it to record (note I got a PSP-3000) Do I need to buy some extra cables, a DVD recorder or something?

@TheShinraCorp *sighs* you need some PSP AV cords (red, yellow and white. not the HD cords because the dazzle will only accept the 3 colors.) then you plug the AV cords to the dazzle with some extra that way you can see the game on TV. it`s the same with the 360, PS2, PS3 or what ever. I really can not see any problems.

I don't think so because PSP games on TV are not full screen. remember that. I was only able to make this full screen with Sony Vegas.

Ahh... I see. And with Sony Vegas you made the video full-screen. It looks good enough for viewing the match, online matches, I suppose.

I'm going to see if Diamond VC500 capture device is any better or if there's a way to make capturing gameplay better in quality.

My question being is that I don't see how people are uploading clear gameplay videos of their PSP game with a PSP-3000 model. Unless they're using those $200-300 dollar video recorders like the Happauge Hi-Def Personal Video Rec.

That's because people are hacking their PSP and adding custom firmware and Remote Joy to record their PSP. I really don't know how it works, so don't ask.

i have a psp3000 and i want ot be able to record videos too... is it for the comp or Tv and what cords do i need?

You need the Dazzle of course. but you also need the PSP AV Cords as well. The have to be the Red, Yellow and White ones. not the Red, Green and Blue ones. Then record it the same way you would for a Xbox 360 game.

How did you manage to get the video to play on your DVD Recorder? I tried with mine, but it needs to have the Component or D-Terminal cables in order to play it on my HDTV. How did you get around that?

i just plugged the AV cords to the dazzle that's all. simple as that.

That said, how in the world did you manage to record this footage? I've been trying for the last hour to record off of my PSP using my own Dazzle and my new HDTV, but no footage comes through my XP laptop. I realize I may have to buy a 3000 model PSP (I own a 2001 one, by the way), but I'd rather avoid shelling out the cash for another PSP if I can.
