  • should have stuck with Donnie

  • I think both of them are good, but i like donnie yen better.Probably because donnie yen is more flexible compare to dennis

  • donnie yen..is the one of the best martial artistist after the great Grand master Bruce Lee..

  • @stanlimbu ? dude donnie yen is an actor, there are hundreds of fighters out there. Dont make blank statements lol

  • the third part is the best fuck the rest... they ar bouth good but lil yip man is better

  • I thought Ip Man The Legend was way more truthful to the history, where as the other 2 were more designed for keeping the masses happy.

Either way I adored both portrayals. So much skill on screen to be seen. Why are people even arguing about this? They should appreciate anything relating to portraying Yip Man.

Stop being little Donnie Yen fanboys and just appreciate the art that is trying to be portrayed, Wing Chun.

  • i aint watchin' the 3 movie

  • Please put subtitles

  • donnie is fucking better ! but for this movie they cnt use donnie cuz he luks much older ! i GUESS

  • It's non-sense to require standard Wing Chun in the film, cause I don't think anyone want to learn Wing Chun from the film. More important is to attract others to learn Wing Chun by the film. One of the main contributions of IP MAN 1,2 is that they attracted a lot of teenage to learn Wing Chun.

  • ip man 3,i didnt watch till end, kinda boring with that kid......

  • @koowilliams we call these ppl wannabes and I think that's the word ur looking for

  • Guys.. of course Donnie Yen is the best, he is older, has done more acting and is a more rounded martial artists.... The point Sifu Ip Chun is making is that in terms of sticking to the stay, that is Wing Chun, Dennis makes the better character, he has been doing Wing chun forever, Donnie had to learn wing chun to act the role... thus he was more wont to slip here and there in terms of style... If you know Wing Chun well, you can detect the flaws, especially in Ip man 2, ask Sammo Hung :-)

  • i VOTE FOR BOTH OF THEM. I LIKE THEM BOTH , DENNIS IS GREAT , GOOD ACTOR AND GREAT MARTIAL ARTIST , JUST LIKE DONNIE , LEAVE HIM ALONE

  • Cant compare, Donnie for sure, but Dennis has alot of potential!

  • it was kind of a bummer that Donnie Yen wasn't Ip Man in the third movie, but that doesnt mean that it sucked, I kind of liked the movie

  • I vote for Donnie Yen!!!!!!!!

  • I like Ip Chun hes so smooth^^

    Everyone shuld be like that^^

  • Dennis To May be an actual Wing Chun champion, but Donnie's movies are so much better. Besides, watching both Donnie's and Dennis's stances, Donnie is much more stronger and confident. Now, to see who's better, they'd have to fight each other, but I'm inclined to think Donnie would win just because he's much more versatile. My thougths.

  • donnie yen is no slouch. He is a praying mantis wushu world champion. Show some respect Dennis. Donnie should just whoop your ass

  • I think Dennis to did a really good job on this film and it actually looked like he stuck more to wing chun then donnie yen

  • donnie yen is a true fighter turns actor... dennis is... well he's a guy like everyone else who try to be someone he can never be... what we call this kind of people??

  • Yo la quiero ver

  • no resemblance at all.

  • razor tv is crap

  • I think Dennis To did well in the role of Ip Man. However, "Ip Man: The Legend is Born" didn't suck because Dennis was acting in Donnie's place. It sucked because the anti-Japanese sentiment in the film was blown completely and utterly out of proportion. Anti-Japanese racism was so strong, that foreigners such as myself felt alienated by a film which was clearly propaganda.

  • @Clown7916 The Japanese committed heinous crimes against the Chinese people, why don't you try and understand others' POV instead of making yourself the victim.

  • @shifragri I am trying to understand. And I am not Japanese. I also understand that Israel has been ravaging Palestine for decades now, but when I see a Palestinian children's program telling their kids that they must fight, and if necessary die, to kill the infidels, I feel a little uncomfortable.

I feel the same way about Ip Man 3.

  • @shifragri Also, please notice that I did not criticise Ip Man no. 1 or 2. While these films could also be said to display propaganda, sensationalising the brutality suffered in war is common and natural. Look at the American film "Pearl Harbour". They make money from their own suffering.

However, Ip Man no.1 and 2 didn't blow things out of proportion. This movie did.

  • @Clown7916 - Ip Man 2 did the best with the Japanese, it was a matter of respect, The General knew Ip Man was great, and he treated him as such, it was an exchange of cultures, though regrettably under unfortunate circumstances.

  • @Compton3clipsed That is a very good point. I had not considered things from that perspective, although in retrospect I never hated the General the same way I did the more vicious Japanese soldiers under him.

  • @Clown7916 - Indeed, especially when the other master gets shot and The General flips, I respected how he handled that, "This is a place for tournaments"

  • Ip Man 3 is coming

  • @SchorschDA How do you know this? =D Will Donnie be IP Man once again?

  • donnie yen is better

  • @92271027 thats disrespectful and ignorant for you to say..Master Ipe Chun paved the way

  • Fuck that shit!!! Donnie Yen is the best!!! This kid no way in hell can ever be compared to Donnie Yen. That 3rd part of Yip Man sucks!

  • @TXCombatWC Dennis sucks!!!

  • Man fuck that shit! the little kid that played IP Man in the third one was soo slow. Donnie yen fucked up shit with that pole in that warehouse, yet the same pole used by the kid in the third one was pathetic, I was shocked at how people actually couldn't dodge the crapy ass swings with that weapon.

  • where is part 2?

  • What movie is the 2:12 ?? never seen that part in ip man 1 or 2 =S

  • @DTProtoss ip man 3 i think

  • Argue all you want about the two young movie actors... but the Oscar Award goes to a THIRD party- namely Ip Chun.

He is one of the greatest actors of all time!

For years he has been acting the part of the son who learned Wing Chun directly from Yip Man. It is a particularly demanding role since everyone knows Yip Man did not teach family members.

In addition to acting the part 24/7, Ip Chun has had to make up the entire script!

  • Ip chun talks as if there's only one wushu champion in the film series and there's definitely favoritism going on there which is understandable but he knows different.

  • strange he talks about favorism dennis that he uses pure wing chun moves only while in the movie he teaches to ip man that pure wing chun is more complex and you have to add more things into it.

  • Well they ARE trying to promote the new movie lol. What would you expect?

  • To aratisbug

What could you have possibly meant by

"You can continue calling me all the colours of the double rainbow you touch yourself to"

Not even your fellow ESLs could make heads or tails of that!

Get your money back from your cram school, too!

(You're already getting your money back from Ip Chun's duped students you occasionally worked with, aren't you?)

  • I think Donnie did such a wonderful job in Ip Man 1 that I absolutely loved it.

His acting was so beautiful that I totally identified with him got me really emotionally involved in it.

I won't judge the new guy, but unless you are a martial arts nut, I wouldn't mind the lapses!! ;-P

  • So this Ip Chung is Ip Man's real son?

  • Donnie refuse to play Ip man 3, so there goes the old man's money, and so Donnie is not as good of a Ip man as DennisTo. The love of money is indeed the root of all evil. If Ip Man could see his sons, he might have pak sao them a few hundred times for making him into some mythical hero produced by hollywood. Sammo has to be in the movie again even though his wing chun sucks, I don't think I will even buy this movie.

  • donny yen is the only ip man actor

  • IP MAN 1 AND 2 ARE DEFINETLY BETTER THAN THE LAST ONE...

DONNIE YEN DID A GOOD JOB!!

  • ok denis was in ip man 1 and 2 but plays minor role

  • You ever heard the saying if it ain't broke don't fix it. Should have stuck with the actor. Contrary to this convo I pack a AK47.

  • well even though dennis is more closer to the story of IP man i still think donnie is still the closest to IP man :)

  • the 122 people are Donnie student. and the 14 dislike are Dinnis student. ( pick your Master!)

  • dennis is nothing compared with donnie...

  • donnies better, I agree

  • Ip Man 2 had wayyyyy better fight scenes than "The Master is born: "Ip man"

  • To aratisbug:

    Stupid dog.

"Post revolution crap" is what you have been learning with your discredited teacher. He came out of China SINCE the revolution and brought with him a hodge podge of post-revolution crap, becoming a black belt on his boat ride over to stupid white boy land. MY line, headed up by Yip Man PREDATES the revolution. He got out BEFORE the revolution, and avoided the disaster of the ensuing Cultural Revolution. We are the pure.

You... well you know what we see you as.

  • @DizzyDerwish The "stupid white boy land" is the most powerful country in the world, though =]

  • @RolandAxforde

    Irrelevant.

  • @RolandAxforde This DizzyDumbass has no idea what he talks about. He tried convincing me that ip chun is a fraud and was never taught by his father but couldn't prove it and now he tells me hes in Augustine Fongs "inner circle" as if its some sort of cult. He claims that everything is false but his own teachings (i doubt he has any). Hes just another megalomaniac talking over the internet.

  • It's true that Donnie wasnt an 100% Wing Chun man in the films, but neither is any Wing Chun practicioner in a real fight. Donnie was more natural, powerful, and in general,he did much better job in my honest opinion. Both as an actor and martial artist.

When kicking is in question,Donnie Yen did much better job to present Wing Chun then Dennis for example. He kicked high only to cover the distance against the Japanese general, all other kicks were 100% Wing Chun. Mastefully done.

  • donnie yen is bestttt

  • i havent watched it yet but, im interested to see an actual descendant from his fathers style as a discliple no doubt play at being an actor. it would be refereshing. as far as comparing donny to denny? its unfair and a lot of you are coming off like assholes lol.

what matters is that its a sammo hung movie with yuen biao in it. i want to see leung bik too and how hes portrayed. and ip chun has more creative influence in this one. see prodigal son for further freshness

  • Dennis to isn't cool at all

  • Donnie Yen is way better.

  • im still gonna watch it...anyone with great credentials in martial arts is bound to amaze me.

  • buddy, look in the mirror, if u knew english it would read "biased" or "peen sum" in chinese on ur forehead, quit bashing donnie for ur own disciple aight?

  • I like both... But donnie yen is DEFENANTLY my favorite!

  • I honestly like Dennis To better as this new younger ip man.

  • guys , this movie isn't a sequel to the first 2 parts Ip Man ... it's totally different story .. there are some cool parts in it ... but it's not related ... it's actually telling the story of the grand son of ip man , Ip Chun .. and he acted in this movie himself ... it's still a good movie though ... i watched it at VVVVVVVV (.) my basement (.) cc

  • @elsultan69 no its about ip man. But Ip chun was in fact in it tho as leung bik

  • Why is the second highest rated comment about Ip Chun? And why does it doubt his skill? Although he may not have legendary status, he is still a wing chun master and has 70 years of practice, no need to disrespect him.

  • I liked all three movies!

  • @SPHRazorTV You should change the title of this report. Dennis To's Ip Man: The Legend Is Born is NOT RELATED to Donnie's Ip Man 1 & 2. Although there might be similar actors in both films, don't be confused. And it's not a prequel as some are claiming. This is bad reporting. I hope you guys don't report Tony Leung's The Grandmaster as Ip Man 4.

  • If Donnie Yen Lapsed from Wing Chun moves in the fight sequences, it was not his fault. The fight scenes were choreographed, so blame the choreographer not Donnie

  • Man Donnie yen not in this one....... not looking forward to this oh well...... Donnie Yen made it ipp man.... ...

  • 2:12 Damn that old man can move!!

  • Thank for this best struggle as movie and

    Thanks with best wishes

  • @TheItalianrebel Johan Cruyf's son is named Jordi.

  • AHAHAHAHA when she said "dennis does bear a striking resemblance to donnie" asians tend to do that !!!!!!!

  • Did Ip chun just diss donnie? lol

  • the 3rd movie just ruined everything when Donnie Yen wasn't there. I'm sorry Ip Chun

  • Donnie yen stated he didn't want to be Ip Man anymore or play in any movies portraying him cause too many people are starting to make movies of Ip Man, and it will just distort the image of who Yip Man really was.

  • i think donnie is better, because dennis had not the physical supposition i think. donnie is very strong and his attitude is so great

  • Donnie is better!!! because of donnie not being in part three i dont even wanna watch it anymore.

  • Master Chun is looking hip as hell for 86!

  • Comment removed

  • i don't like him, he's like the japanese secretary or whatever cunt from ip man 1. donnie contains all the emotion and portrays a better ipman..the way he talks and acts just makes him perfect as ip man..if its truly a tribute to master ip man then it should be about he's life not wing chun..i believe donnie fits ip man perfectly

  • @sOulrOckmelO yea but remember this movie is when ip man was younger, nd i think dennis to fits that perfectly.

  • i feel favortism... i wonder what Donnie says about this...

  • Donnie Yen could kick ipman's ass!!!

  • @bilalbutti donnie yen is ip man xD they just changed his role now

  • i am really upset that dennis played the role on part 3....i dont even want to watch it anymore. it just ruin the whole movie! i love donnie yen and they should reshoot part 3 and have donnie play it.

  • i dont know why but i think donnie yen is better.from his look, voice, and roleplay.and when he is fighting, compare to dennis to, donnie yen is soo much better even though that is only acting, and not only donnie yen, i sometimes after fight, im not using wing chun stance at the end..lol

  • @MrGameEXP its just because donnie yen's more experienced in acting

  • @TheItalianrebel jordi cruyff - played for manchester united

  • i think the old man dissrespected donnie yens performance ....IM SORRY BUT DONNIE YEN WUD HAV DESTROYED DENNIS...in my opinion

  • @greezykid12345 in an all out fight maybe. But if they were both using only wing chun then dennis would pwn donnie,

  • the dude who played in 1 and 2 is waaayyy better

  • whatever the old man say DONNIE YEN is the IP man!! . Dennis to, looks more for IP younger..

  • @MultyRandomerz Is it just me or do your insults get worse and worse? this is the 21st century, catch up. Your many years as a therapist are wearing you down. the insanity and misfortune of others is wearing out what is left of that miserable excuse for what you call a brain. if you are truly that stupid or ignorant that you cant imagine the possibility of anyone but yourself as a therapist, you really have no place giving council to others. sorry you started WC yesterday, i was a lucky child.

  • @aratisbug What you wrote: Council: n. A body of people elected or appointed to act in an administrative capacity. What you should've written: Counsel: n. Advice or guidance, as solicited from a knowledgeable person. Council & counsel aren't interchangeable. You didn't know that. (Source : Webster's New Riverside UNIVERSITY Dictionary) Snakefisted Mutt! I am a certified counsellor, but I'm truly feeling more like a bully now. I shouldn't do it so happily; but you do bring it out in me.
  • @DizzyDerwish Im glad to know a failed martial artist and sped COUNSELOR would bother spending time on spell checking every single thing they see on youtube. For your information snakefisted is not a word. look if up if it makes you happy. Keep trolling, i see you for what you are; you know nothing about history, nothing about martial arts and nothing about life. Your probably an eng major AKA failed maths/sciences. This mutt 1) can kick your ass 2) is getting a REAL job (therapist? failiure).

  • @aratisbug

    You wrote "Your probably..."

    My probably what?

    My probably what?

    Did you mean "You're?"

More advice for you: University is NOT for you; you will not make it in an academic setting. You would be up against armed people like me there. You haven't got the merest basics- neither critical thinking, inference skills, or standard writing conventions. Value subtracted: your learning disorder.

Yours will be a life of narrowed choices.

By the way, did I mention Ip Chun is a fraud?

  • @DizzyDerwish uni is working out really well for me. I'm doing great, thank you for asking and unlike you i took real courses (not an psychology major i could pick up at the library for free). my life is already decided and for the better, unfortunately, the psychos you have to deal with all day seem to be rubbing off onto you.

By the way did i mention Ip chun started WC at age 7 with his father till his mid twenties when he left? all you cover is AFTER that point you blind shit. learn to read.

  • @aratisbug

What you parroted about Ip Chun from Ip Chun sources is as genuine as you starting Wing Chun training at the age of 12.

    Didn't happen.

As for university, funny how you wrote "i took real courses..." The past tense. Hmmm. Over so soon?

    Elsewhere:

It took you a few more days to reply, but clearly the time you invested in proofreading your work before impulsively sending- even getting someone to help you is a good step and has paid off.

    Not one single grammatical mistake!

  • @DizzyDerwish What you parroted about Ip Chun from NON Ip Chun sources is as genuine as you actually starting wing chun period.

No my courses are not "over so soon" and they wont be "over so soon" for a couple years to come but thank god i wont have to baby psychos for a living, god knows what might happen, i might end up as retarded as you!

Your perception of time is almost as horrendous as my grammar. i posted yesterday. you posted 2 days ago. Did the math turn out too challenging for you?

  • @aratisbug

Your usual gainsaying underlines how unfamiliar you are with any semblance of academic exchange.

Your retorts consistently resound like those of a schoolboy. You retreat to opposites, the way kids do who chant, "I know you are but what am I?"

    The intelligence of a gainsayer.

It's amusing how you dare speak to me, who am your intellectual, technical, and hierarchical superior, Mutt.

Summing you up is best done using your own incredibly impotent appeal:

"My sifu was born in China!"

  • @aratisbug

    Cont'd...

You must have missed your medication yesterday, because you said

"Ip chun started WC at age 7 with his father till his mid twenties when he left"

and yet four months ago, you said

"just about every biography on ip chun i've read states thet he started wing chun at age 17 under his fathers tutelage."

You have repeatedly told me to 'do the math.'

Exactly how do you suggest that be done using your backsliding numbers, Mutt?

  • donnie yen was better

  • one can act and dennis aint him

  • Im confused about Sammo's role, what was his role in Ip Man The Legend is Born

  • all i can say donnie yen is better than dennis and i dont think he is a champion in wing chun i want to spar with you dennis.........

  • donnie yen is better

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah where the fuck is part 2???

  • idk donnie has this charisma to him that's why i like him more

  • Yip Man is known as the person who brought Wing Chun out of China and into Hong Kong, however, there were certain types of students that Yip Man would not teach. Yip Man felt that relatives would not show him the respect that he deserved. He also felt that children would not have the discipline to learn Wing Chun.

Where does that leave Ip Chun & Ching?

  • where is part 2 plz? ^^

  • i didnt like this movie. ipman 1 is better

  • so who would win in a fight???

  • so to both DizzyDerwish and ratisbug. well you both can shut up about wing chun. and end this little cat fight. its annoying when two dimwitts argue. its a website and you dont even know each other. just drop it and continue with your lives.

  • @mikethehotshot7

Oh I DO know the 'bug,' and like you I have noticed that aratisbug is a double dimwit. (You wrote '...when two dimwitts[sic] argue.') You must have meant HIM impotently quibbling, while I in fact have one brain tied behind my back just to be kind.

He is a double dimwit while I am smart ^2.

    Glad you noticed.

  • rofl wat????????????

  • donny would of been better for this.. after all it is a movie.. need a good actor.

  • Dennis stuck on the moves but he wasnt interesting, he wasnt moving us, its about moving some ones feeling so that they can learn. (Every master have their own techniques. two masters can fight using wing chun n at the end one will win. ipchun added some staff in wing chun so as donnie yen. so wat the hek, change even in martial arts is there. many ways to kill the rat.

  • Acting or not acting Donnie yen is the best.

  • ya watever the hek is, we don't give a damn, its like ipman 3 was just made to clear us from the man who really brought wing chun on a real table (DONNIE YEN). we dont care who the son was or is not, its the person who promotes it, we learnt nothing from Dennis, Donnie yen really did a real perfomance, wing t chun is being represented by donnie, thats why wing chun is selling alot all over the world. this video is just to degrade donnie yen, Who even cares about wing chun 3.

  • ip chun started when he was 7(on and off till 18). what the hell have you been hearing.

Why do you bother commenting over and over again? you never say anything constructive, different or intelegent. allow me to summarise your entire part in this convo; i heard it from sifu fong. you should talk to sifu fong. ip chun is a charlaton. si-dai. si-dumb. you literally havent said ANYTHING far off those lines. if you have nothing else to say, say nothing, otherwise carry on miss.

  • @aratisbug

    Ip Chun is a fraud.

    Fong and Ho say so.

I never did have anything to say since it was only Fong and Ho I was repeating.

Indeed what is there to say?

    After all, you are illegitimate.

It is a HUGE condescension that I even bother to talk down to you- a mutt- who are outside Yip Man's system and have no instructional pedigree, & only exposure to Ip Chun's students!

I've said enough to threaten your illusion. Your Si-dumb way of talking back to me, your Si-Hing, is proof of that.

  • @DizzyDerwish "Fong and Ho say so." all ive asked is for proof. You have none.

"After all, you are illegitimate." Yip man didnt invent wing chun. i can learn it from anyone. its the same wing chun taught everywhere in the world, infact, the wing chun im being taught is the same being taught in mainland china (my sifu was BORN there).

You cant talk down to your superiors. Stop trying to make your crack-alley skills get to your head.

Take up wing chun. A dunce like you would profit from it.

  • @aratisbug

    You are so young.

You are so ready to be gulled.

You do not show critical thinking, but only misplaced skepticism while lending so much authority, ie "My sifu was BORN in China!" Surely millions of conmen can claim China as their birth country; what's your point?

You only reveal how simple your criteria are for choosing a teacher.

    Ignorant.

The WC taught in China is NOT the same as what YM taught. Fat Shan's styles are recognized as distinct, just as Randy Williams' is different.

  • @aratisbug Cont'd

You are such a green ignoramus.

You imagine that WC is something you can learn anywhere in the world and from anyone- what a shockingly immature notion, as if credentials don't vary, as if YOUR particular dilution is comparable to MY inner circle with Fong. You are a laughing stock of assumptions.

Unfortunately for you, Wing Chun is NOT McDonald's... or maybe YOURS is, as I've hinted, with a teacher who skimmed you all the forms in a year whereas NO credible teacher should.

  • @aratisbug

Here's your internet source on a silver platter, lazy mutt:

    fongswingchun.

Type it in, go to History... read Fong's words, write us all back in humble gratitude.

  • @aratisbug

    You wrote "intelegent" above.

Si-dumb, you are so out of your league.

All you can do is thrash under my wheels like the dim mutt you are.

  • @DizzyDerwish Its called a "typo".

Im out of my league? You have literally contributed NOTHING to back yourself up but your own unstable delutions of greatness the name of a man you know nothing about. You do realise that such feelings of grandure and self adoring are early signs of mania dont you?

"All you can do is thrash under my wheels like the dim mutt you are." atleast i can walk. Lose some weight, get out of your wheelchair and learn wing chun. enough BS, your fouling the site.

  • Comment removed

  • @aratisbug

Here's a perfect illustration of your confusion coming back to bite you in the ass in public.

You wrote the following to me:

"once again you call yip man, the greatest name in wing chun history a charlaton." (sic)

Whereas I NEVER called Yip Man a charlatan.

I suppose you would also try to wriggle out from under that misfire by saying it was a 'typo'.

You can only get away with typos for so long...

Sadly, with you, typos end and stupidity begins very early on.

  • @DizzyDerwish Oh no that was a comment on how you throw the word "charlaton" around like its a toy. you've said it so many times that ive lost track of all the people you say it to.

As for stupidity, i believe there is nothing more stupid than an adolescent runt of an imbicilic child such as yourself ranting on the internet for about a month about matters you know nothing of. Stop changing the topic you defecation in wing chun history, provide proof or stop desecrating youtube with your filth.

  • @DizzyDerwish No. Not a typo.

A typo is seen among neighboring letters, or results from a missed/added key.

To have typed intelegent as you did, you had to use your left hand when you should have kept using your right going in order along the word from the i-n-t-e-l-l- clear over to the e you typed instead of staying on the right to type the i in igent.

In a parallel way, I would wager you have little left/right body unity in WC.

  • I love the Ip Man movies..Donnie did such a great job,

  • wow ip chun dress sooooooo cool

  • every time i watch an ip man move, i'm like "kick his ass... kick his ass... KICK HIS ASS!!!"

  • Donnie Yen's Ip Man is more action packed than Dennis To's.

  • Wushu beijing team !

  • I liked ip man 1 and 2 for more than just action scenes, donnie yen's acting made it a lot better

  • OMG you guys are still in this feud, stop it already! Go watch some other vids! P:

  • Ip Chun is a leech. Of course he's gonna praise the current actor. Obviously the new guy won't wanna make the movie if Ip Chun says Donnie Yen is better than you, new guy. What's funny is that Ip Ching is better than Ip Chun but he doesn't run around trying to promote himself under his father's name. Ip Chun is retarded anyways because there are no high kicks in WC yet in the movie he is shown training Dennis To high kicking way to make this movie "more accurate"...

  • @nickstanovic you read too many jackey chan comic books. you have no idea what you are saying and ip ching doesnt promote himself because he doesnt teach wing chun. ip chun promotes the new guy because he is his grand deciple and a world champion martial artist rather than an actor. stop talking because you are pushing yourself into waters you know nothing of.

  • @aratisbug

Here you are revealing how ignorant you are, telling "nickstanovic" above that Ip Ching doesn't teach Wing Chun. He teaches SOMETHING in HongKong at the Ving Tsun Athletic Association!

What could you have otherwise meant- that Ip Ching doesn't teach WC since he teaches VT? What a useless and academic argument here if so!

More likely you didn't know what Ip Ching is doing.

You are so far outside recognized lineages that you don't know even the most basic players.

    How you presume!

  • Dennis moves cool yes, but is still far from Donnie Yen. Everyone knows this movie it can stand out more in fights because he is playing the role of Bruce Lee, obviously. And Bruce Lee was the greatest fighter who ever exitil

  • i still like donnie yen...

  • SHIT YOU DENNIS DONNIE WAY BETTER THEN YOU AND WAY HANDSOME THEN YOU!!!

  • I would watch this for Yuen Biao.

  • wait why arent they subtitling the mandarin???

  • where is the part two of this?

  • Donnie Yen is the best... It's not about how much Wing Chun is displayed in the movie, but how beautiful and attractive it is. In Ip Man and Ip Man 2 I saw the best action moves in my life of watching action movies.

  • its pernounced Eip Maun

  • Ip man and Ip man 2 with Donnie Yen is masterpiece. And nobody can change it. Donnie Yen is the best.

  • Ludicrous to have Ip Chun representing WC.

It is well-known that Yip Man did not teach family members.

Here's Ip Chun saying his trainee is better than Donnie. Of course! He's his disciple. Ip says Donnie would lapse into other forms and then turns around & says his disciple is also a Wu Shu champ. So what!

I'd expect his disciple to lapse into Wu Sh now & then, but that would be fine by Ip Chun.

The film makers asked for Ip Chun's involvement as an appeal to authority.

    He has none!
