locust do have blades actually... cause in the gears of war: aspho fields books by karrin traviss.. colonel hoffmen says that if he was simpathetic or something..he would be lying on a deserted battlefield with a grub "blade" stickin into him... its not an exact quote but he says grub blade...so there..
