bought one for my galaxy s2 but when i placed the shield perfekt on, the screen looked "old" and used and certainly not invisible, pretty much a waste of money
Hi, im getting the ipod touch 5g in september and i wanna get a zagg invisible shield and was wondering does it come with a cloth i have been looking at alot of videos. and can you slide the protector into place after you put it on? and does the screen really have a strong grip? like can you slide your finger across the screen easily? and what is the spray is it like a spray that prevents fingerprints on the screen so its okay to touch it when u put the protector on Thank you so much great vid!
Zagg's newest model of the InvisibleShield is the best screen protector I've seen by far!
Much easier to apply than the older models and the bubbles are easier to remove. Doesn't have the "orange peel" effect anymore, looks very sleek, has anti-glare/fingerprint features. Remains to be one of the strongest screen protectors available.
Just bought one for my iPhone 4 and I'm very satisfied. Also, the new ones won't bubble up when a case is put on the phone.
hahaha.. this is so funny... u were such a noob putting on the screen protector. basically you put the solution on the screen protector and then u can slide it to position it... you dont have to lift and reput... just slide to place. Great installation anyway.
@vicentemendoza7777 Just put one on my iPod touch 4g. Doesn't take any quality away from the retina display. With my rear-covering case, I always forget that my iPod is even has an InvisibleSHIELD on the screen. No peeling, no bubbles. So far so good, thus far.
Has the water gone inside and affected the screen? I remember way back I applied zagg to 3 different ipod touch, and the water leaked inside (mind you there was NOT a lot of liquid application that I put on) and it had water streaks inside. Hardly noticable but still. Does your iPhone have this? - after application?
@azarate418 ALl Zagg products have the orange Peel effect. Can you post a video then showing a close up xXTechNewbieXx. I find it really hard to belive you got some special Invisibleshield that has no Orange Peel effect when everyone else including mine has it.
@RTalapian The Bubbles are completely gone, i have no orange peel affect, but it has some dust on top of the shield which could be tough to remove without force
U can call me crazy, but I did a 3 hours research, from Apple forms to many websites. The best is "wrapsol" , but it is little bit more expensive with shipping and hard to find coupons for it. They also have the comparison on their website with other top brands. no orange effect, thickest, strongest, no finger print, very smooth like touching the real screen. I have it and very happy with it.
you should spray your phone and wipe it down with the mirco fiber cloth. the solvent not only unadheres the sheild but also removes and prevents finger prints
Orange peel effect never goes I dont think... but u shud really more carefull about applying the shield cuz when u applied it u cud of let liquid enter the ports so only use the squigy to the side of the fone that dont have ports like the not the bottom or top...! and watch for the volume buttons.. liquid cud get into them aswell.. dont wanna turn those markers pink inside ure fone cuz that will void your warrenty!
they made a new invisible shield sold at the AT&T store its called invisible shield dry, it doesnt need that liquid applicator... makes everything a lot easier
Good video. I just got this and it was somewhat of a pain probably because I'm super precise about this kind of stuff. But the only thing is that it feels really gooey and I'm hoping it's not like that in the morning since I jut put it on about 6 hours ago. Works good with the bumper but I probably should have waited until it was completely dry and set to the phone before putting the bumper back on. Oh well. Oh AND the hole for the home button is bigger than it needs to be!
Ok so i hate it when the back of my iphone gets scratched or even has dust on it. I usually buy a power support screen cover but i have to buy a case for the back which usually scratches it. The invisible shield looks perfect but i see air bubbles and stuff and what is this orange peel effect i hear about? What am i going to get when i put an invisible shield on my iphone 4?
two questions, what is the oragne peel effect and also does the front shield really mess with the picture quality making it a little worse or something
You don't steam it that much. Just enough to drop the lint particles in the air. I read this in the instructions for other similar shields before. My old iPhone 2g went in the bathroom every morning for over 2 years, so whatever. No shit Sherlock it is glass, gorilla glass. You don't think I know all the specs? I had mine on the 23rd. These skins are Good for the back and less smudges in front. I agree that going naked in front is best but I saw Gizmodo managed to scratch theirs and worse. The
Steam up the shower and do it in the bathroom to avoid lint underneath. Watch out and don't wet the phone too much and keep the microfiber cloth to wipe up before it enters sim slot, speaker, etc. The orange peel texture is a bit annoying in front but I got it day b4 launch at best buy. Who will make one with better optical quality? I wish HORI made them for iPhone. The psp shield I have for them it tops, 3 layers, optical perfection.
@TheParallex You are supposed to steam up the bathroomm, let the steam subside, then apply the shield after the steam is gone. What this does is it increases the density of the dust particles in the air, making them heavier thus causing them to fall on the floor instead of float in the air.
@beshdave no dude dont do that i no some 1 that had there phone in the bathroom when they had a shower and the steam got in the phone and voided the warrenty
@TheParallex You apparently didn't read what I said too accurately. Wrait until the steam is -gone-. How can steam possibly get into the phone if there is no steam...?
@TonioBologna from what ive been told the camera is rather close to the main front speaker so they have just exstended the whole on the shield to fit both camera and speaker.
@originalarmo The invisible shield doesn't interfere with the Antenna so thats not the problem. Yes i am still having the reception problem. i currently have 1 bar on my iPhone 4 while my Dad's iPhone 3GS has 3 bars
No I know the shield doesn't interfere with the antenna, what I was asking is if after applying the shield to the antenna region do you still lose bars when you're holding the phone in your left hand with your palm connecting the two antennas on that lower left notch, because that's confirmed as the source of the reception problems.
wow
