European hiphop is better when it comes to lyrics and keeping it real. American commercial shit only talks about bling bling, bitches and liquor. European doesn't. But American underground rap is lots better quality. Check Dutch hiphop: Postmen, Sticks & Delic, Raymzter, Extince, Duvel Duvel, Steen, Osdorp Posse, Typhoon, Cilvaringz, Spookrijders, VSOP. We got dope producers/beats.

That shit is dope man. Like it. I don't know much English rap though but I like Scorzyzee, Hijack, Slick Rick, Lowkey, Roots Manuva. Because I heard mostly grime stuff from there like Streets and Dizzee Rascal. I don't like Lady Sovereign though. :D I think I like Sticks & Delic's beats best. In every country, the first rappers rapped about social problems, stories of their lives, and goals for the future.
The original Los Angeles rappers came long before original European rappers.
American rap has evolved into more of a freestyle type where rappers talk exclusively about pussy, money, and drugs.
Few American rappers like Eminem and La Coka Nostra stay true to the original style.
Rap is newer in Europe and still has not had a chance to fully evolve and change.
