@jung567 I think it's impossible to learn this style in California. the only person who can teach Ono Ha Itto Ryu is Soke, Sasamori Takemi (the man with white hair in this video) , and he teaches just in Tokyo ( at the Reigakudo ), he comes to Italy or Germany just one time in a year.
when i compare this branch of itto ryu to mizoguchi... it seems... that mizoguchi is really smooth (really noticeable), while ono is how should i say this... thorough? It's my opinion sorry...
1) As far is I know, you can not "learn" the ryu, but only "practice" in groups.
Because the only person who teaches is the Soke himself. Worldwide.
And he lives in Tokio, teaching in a church...
My Sensei told me this on my first day, "we're only practicing, i don't teach!"....he said.
2) Those Onigote are so horrible to use, so stiff, so unflexible (when new) and so heavy.^
Itto Ryu is much more fun, when you're Shidachi,...^^

Ce style est vraiment d'une grande pureté pour avoir eu la chance de pratiquer au Japon, au dojo de Sasamori Takemi Sensei et de l'avoir rencontrer.
C'est dommage que ce style n'est pas pratiquer beaucoup en France.

@sexvamp666 It depends on the school. Some have chapters all over the world, others stay close to home.
