ur a great fisher man btw when u go ice fishing..... how do u no the ice will hold and when u drill a whole how do u no there is fish under there?

lol, before walking on the ice I use a spud bar and try to punch thru, if it goes thru easy its no good - if it don't go thru it is good. You never KNOW, you just HOPE the fish are there.

three inches aint thick enough for me and all my gear. i usally wait till there is about 5 inches or untill i see alot of guys on the ice then i know its all good.
