  • Is he still natural at this point? I like his focus and intensity for the 4 sets. After the 2nd set it doesn't seem like he might not get 4 reps on the next one. But bam! He just push it through. Whatever he is drinking definitely helps with recovery for next set.

  • kev thank you for the inspiration , i have quit drinking for a couple months and cut out the dairy , and i have never in my life lifted the way i am lifting now, my body really is responding better to my traing

  • even if hes not on the juice he could still be on a prohormone which is cheating. although i think kevin is doing this naturally. it is not unrealistic for a guy with some of the best genetics in the world, and muscle memory on his side to make this kind of progress. when you think about it, he had a 370 bench when he started, and prolly has a 430 now, so a 60 pound increase for a guy with hiss genes whos benched 600 is doable. now a guy like me.. i struggle to increase 5 pounds a month.

  • @m5p944 Struggle with 5-hundo? There's vids of him benching 495 for 4 2 weeks out from the Olympia. That is fucking insane. I fully believe he got 600 in the off-season.

    Yes he was bigger and stronger before. Muscle memory is awesome and his genes are second to none. But what he is trying to teach is something that anyone can achieve and that is positive thinking. A state of mind that allows your body to grow and get stronger. The mental aspect of bodybuilding is the most powerful piece. You may not be able to make gains like kevin, but it doesn't matter who you are you deffinately should be going up more than 5 lbs a month. Visualization.

  • Nice bro!!! Now we're starting to see you grind it out! Very impressive strength Kevin. Very inspiring power. My guess is that in 30 days you will be maxing 450 lbs. Normally, your muscle memory comes back very fast and you used to hit over 500 lbs for a few, so 450 should come back quite easily. Not that it is any less impressive though Kev...much respect.

  • After watching this vid I was pumped for my own chest workout. I tested myself out and hit a few new PR's including a 390 lb bench, 380 lb close-grip, and 166 lb dumbell press! (the vid is posted)

  • oh and to add to my other colmment, hhis 370 max bench looked easy, and he probably had a 385 bench in him that day. so hes realistically gone up from a 385 bench to a 430 bench, which for a guy with his genes is very doable cleanly.

    although to get back to 500 he might have to juice.
