@kungfu088 We broke all the rules. He eats ham and eggs, Oreo cookies, jelly beans, and whatever he can get ahold of. Tomorrow is his 15th birthday, and yesterday he was actually running around the house, jumping up an down. He still leaps onto our bed, but has a bit of trouble getting down now.

He chewed a lot of his hair out last year, but it came back strong, and is a lot darker than before for some reason.

Samson is great. I have four of my own. One big one - a Great Pyrenees. Two old ones - Mickey the mutt is 15 1/2, Zoie just turned 14.

I love dogs. I took two dogs out of the streets and brought them home and they follow me as if they were my shadow.

Yes, he has been the nicest dog, and always obedient. Lately though, we can't trust him alone, because he is tall enough to get up on the high cupboards and will also raid the garbage.

My wife had taken a stick of butter out to soften for toast, and put it in the middle of the table. Later, we saw Samson with the wrapper in his mouth. A whole stick of butter would probably kill me.

He loves to walk by the river.
