Natural Gas from coal is irrelevent. Carbon dioxide capture/sequester is so expensive that wind & solar is cheaper.

WE ALL NEED TO STOP USING FOSSIL FUELS NOW! The rest of the world knows this, even China, Iran, Germany & the Saudi's. They are all building wind & solar plants as fast as they can.

Massive public works programs got us out of the depression. America needs a massive green energy program now. Upgrade the grid, re-employ fossil fuel workers in OUR green sector.

@BadGasGoodWind Bull shit. Natural gas is very easy to obtain. For example, the amount of natural gas produced from the Bakken oil field will supply the United States for at least 30 years alone. Even with the GOVERNMENT MANDATED CO2 capture, wind and solar energy is far more expensive. Do you realize how many solar panels would be needed to produce enough power for 1 city for a year? The surface area needed would be bigger than the state of Texas. Wind energy is not much better.

@imunchbutts : GreenTech is an Economic (R)Evolution. Fossil prices will always rise, GreenTech costs will decrease with increased production and efficiency. All fossils pollute when you get them and when you use them. Carbon Sequestering has no guarantee and it is wicked expensive to do. As for fracking, would you like your ribs shattered? Which would you rather want? Keep in mind that the south side of every tall building is the equivelent of a city block of solar panels and it's always windy on top of skyscrapers. I'd love to have solar panels over parking lots to shade my car from sun & rain.
