It's amazing how many things have changed in the past two years. There's a huge hotel at 66 and Butler. Then there's a huge New Frontiers at Sawmill and Butler as well as a shopping center and a new community going up.
That Chinese Buffet isn't bad. My school went there one day. Only ONE of our friends threw up! (And that was because some prankster put a ton of soy sauce in his soda.)
I remember my college days in Flagstaff quite fondly. I remember walking every day on the sidewalks in the cold and wintry weather, and the ugly sights of chain link fences and the horrid smell of garbage in people's yards. Nevertheless I got a nice college education.
I've lived in Flagstaff for 6+ years. It's always nice to see it from a visitor's view, I forget how lil town it is sometimes. But I'm tired of always seeing the 'broke & hungry' guys out there every sunny day :( they ruin the scenery.
haha you past right by my church!!! and the little america is the best truck stop in the world! plus restraunt! especially during new years. and that chinese place (the mandrin) best food in the world
They won't let us put domain names in these replies (which is probably a good thing else we would all get spammed to death). It's my newest site which is notrhern-arizona-video dot com. You'll have to figure out the code there ;-) It should show up in your links tomorrow though.
I have lived in phoenix for about 3 1/2 years now and I still haven't visited flagstaff. I only road on the outskirts of it when I drove from missouri to phoenix on interstate 40.
grandplans; Come up here and visit some time, if you need a break from the city life. Get some fresh air. As a 5 year PHX Veteran though, bring a jacket if you come during fall or winter. You'll be chilly. Most of us Flag-seasoned folks are used to it though.
It's Crazy How They Added So Much To Flagstaff, I Go 2 School Here & iLove This Town. Not So Big & Not So Small (:

Wow. You work for Prime?! Out of Springfield?
I almost applied with them in 1999 until I heard so many complaints about the company from their own drivers.
Have things changed?

I've watched people time and again pull out in front of big trucks, even on the freeway, and then go slow. I kinda wonder where their brain is at.
grandplans 4 years ago
The brains are in thier own little world. The way I look at it, it's your world, I'm just passing through.
