Completely opposite opinion. Go play Halo to hear Halo sound effects. These distince sounds make the machinima more creative. Plus, these sounds make it sound more realistic.

Halo Sound Effects are okay, but haven't you noticed that in certain Halo pieces that they don't always stick with the usual sound effects? So, I think for Phoenix it was appropriate for us to use different gun sounds.

very canonical and, IMO, very true to all things Halo - ODST helmets, the ODSTs actually sounded like they cared (no momtones here), and Elites had covie weapons: humans, human weapons. The camera angles were good and the music was excellent.

If I had to criticize something, it would probably be that it seemed like the Elites didn't care, and that the ODSTs were confined to a small part of the base. Have some people review your maps before filming.

Please, don't use halo 3 for machinimas, it's extremely cheap and dull, if you want to make high quality ones, invest in better capture equipment and editing programs, and use better games.

Halo 3's glory is over.

Try using Far Cry 2, you can create your own maps there too you know.
