Joy Divison was great. Ian had enough of life's bullshit and did what many others in history did before, and after him. At least he had a more legit reason than others. Those late 70s and early 80s epilepsy drugs were had atrocious side effects.

I think i finally figured it out. Most of the footage is from the movie Control (2007), carefully edited for length (e.g. leaving out the final epileptic fit). At least one bit (the feet dangling) is from 24 Hour Party People (2001). The song is not being sung by Ian, although he wrote it, because only a fragment of him singing it survives, so the version here is by the others (i.e. New Order), doing their best to figure out what Ian wrote and sing it like him. BTW: Brilliant work.

Every time I listen to this, it makes me feel as if Ian Curtis is in the same room.
