I forgot which one that I have watched, but the video revealed:
1) the US "started" the war by attacking the Japanese midget submarines.
2) the pacific fleet was "saved" by not knowing the attack. If they knew, all battleships will be outside Pearl Harbour and then most likely, the battleship will be distroyed.
Not sure that I wholly agree with this documentary's hypothesis or its conclusion. Whilst this documentary may have been "good tv" in the 70's, my opinion is that the maker has been rather academically naive and rather self-indulgent to the point of being woefully non-objective. To infer that all codebreakers and codebreaking were soley at the feet of american codebreakers is inept to say the least. To cast French, Polish and British influences to outliers, would be to tarnish the facts.
This Doc was produced after Enigma was revealed. I uploaded this because of the content on the "magic" decrypts. I will upload another program that throughly investigates the Bletchley Park experience from several angles.
I look forward to it. Keep up the good work. I have watched many of your uploads and this is the only one (apart from the obvious propagandist ones, which I avoid anyway), that I have disagreed with.

No No man. This is fantasy it was the Enigma decripts that far more than any Purple data gave the insights into Axis stratigic and command thinkink

Enigma was military traffic and Purple was Japanese diplomatic traffic. Of course we broke JN-25 code too.
