  • I don't see why this didn't get the success it deserves. This is one of the few movies from my childhood that I actually remember feeling emotion in. It wasn't just something my mom put on the TV. I was 5 when this came out. I was just reminded of this great movie today.

  • Gosh...remember when there was this much heart in a movie, instead of some of the crap we have today.

  • Thumbs up if you think this movie could be shown in theaters today, and every audience would love it. It would get the reception and fame it deserves.

  • Love how the beginning almost wispers "Our time is come..."

But then at the end it shouts "CAN YOU FEEL THE POW-A NOW?!?!"

  • Oh my EFFIN gosh. This was and still is my favorite animated movie. Watched it more than any Disney movie when i was a kid, and that was only around maybe ten years ago. My brother broke two of the VHS copies i had, but i ended up obtaining another copy. It was meant to be!

  • Ha! Pie is hardly useless!

  • 2:51 First time seeing Tits XD

  • I'm goin to HOLLYWUD!!! :D This was my favorite movie from Kindergarten-NOW!! :) I was a poor child :(

  • when i was little i HATED taking medicine. my daddy promised me a present if i took it without complaint. i did and my gift was this movie. i am 19 years old and i still have it.

  • i love this movie :D

  • You know, something I just noticed. With older cartoon movies, they always had the message of "Dream and never give up because your dream will come true!" not only that but, "Nothing bad lasts forever, keep going and eventually circumstances will brighten up." I dunno this could be me. *shrug*

  • I got fucking emotional with the song! This was my favorite movie from when I was little

  • man smh whatever happened to good movies like these? i look at the disney channel now and seriously want to cry....

  • I found a hard copy of this movie in a five dollar bin at wal-mart and had a nastalgia explosion, it was right next to the iron giant and i got them both.

  • @XTheNightArcher Same here, but with Quest for Camelot :D

  • 2:33 ''Make a little history, each time we dare to dream''. Wow, beautiful lyrics for a children's movie. :) I love it.

  • Oh ma God!!! 8D LOUIS. From The Princess and the Frog! <3 Lol. Looks like him.

  • my favorite childhood movie!! still have all the songs on my mp3 <3

  • @smilesinternational Haha I do have the soundtrack in its entirety also in my iPod. Don't have the original soundtrack, I'm refering in a disc. Someday I will hehe

  • best opening credits, ever.

  • @TheLastHylianTitan Yeah, because of the song!

  • @Catsdontdance3 and the visuals. those visuals are gorgeous.

  • Why is this better than all the animated movies today?

  • @MrAndersonio Because it's made with heart, made with love to the animation; made with love to the golden hollywood, and specially, made for homage, an made for the public. But, it's too sad it didn't get the sucess it need to be

  • @MrAndersonio because now.. they make D U M B movies. -___- it really is sad.

  • The first time I watched this was on Boomerang

  • this movie always gave me such amazing, happy feelings

  • I remember I made sure that this was the song I was listening to on my iPod when I arrived at my university. <3

  • memory's!!!!

  • I can't remember how this entered my childhood.. but i'm glad it did

  • @TheDarkDimensions Same here. My mom used to pick up random movies at yard sales and such, so I'm guessing that's where I got it. I still have the vhs version and it still works after all these years <3

  • @Konokou haha that's exactly what my mum would do :P it was good to be a 90's kid. I think my VHS version is broken :(

  • Ohm

  • I have a good Fullscreen version of this movie on DVD bought it for 5 bucks

  • I love this song!

  • In 1997 I was 8 years old and in the 3rd grade. My entire class went on a field trip to the local movie theatre. I learned that day that cats do in fact know how to dance.

  • @BVBrown99 I was born in the year of the release, in 1997, only in October. But I did born in that age, and I'm glad to think, that the next year, CDD will have 15 years and I will have too, CDD will have it with me ;)

  • in this movie there is no bad song. this is my favorite one.

  • Oh my god dude thank you for this

My Favorite animated movie all time I kid you not and this happens to be my favorite song in the film...How unfortunate that a movie like this has been forgotten

  • 1:15 to get straight to the song.

  • Omg this was my favorite movie.

  • i love CDD, but i've haven't seen it in forever. it makes me sad.

  • Oh hey, I found Dolores Umbridge's long lost daughter XD

  • @Mstealth89 It was never one place to hang too long, the image has always been just that : An Image. Its just that a lot of the illegal and unfair goings on cant be easily hidden anymore.

  • wwweeee XD

  • why havent i heard of this one? :o

  • I think they went out of their way to make sure that the opening song sounded better in the actual movie that it did on the soundtrack

  • @ooozetoons Seriously. I don't like the album version. I wish there was somewhere you could get the version actually used in the movie.

  • @Mstealth89 Well while your rant isnt exactly true. Its cool to get the anger off your chest. Better out than in I say, lol.

  • Here's my Childhood. <3

  • I still have my old Laserdisc copy!

  • A while ago, you asked the difference between PAL and NTSC. The difference is the frame rate. NTSC plays video at 24 frames per second, while PAL plays at 25 frames per second. I don't know whose idea it was to have two different broadcasting forms like this, but it makes PAL movies just a tiny bit faster, and due to region coding, this prevents foreign customers from playing DVDs on their country's DVD players.

  • @ShogunGin0 If you have a DVD player that can bypass the coding, you should be OK to play these regardless of the frame rate differences (I would still go for the intended 24fps myself).

  • Perfect encoding job, btw - absolutely brilliant!

  • @Psychokinetic2k Thanks

  • Whether you upload it all or not (and you may have already) I just wanted to thank you deeply for the bits I've seen so far posted widescreen. I love this movie - would ADORE the whole movie widescreen. Heck, who cares if it's PAL - I just watch it on my PC. I already do that for some music DVD releases from the UK.

Again - lots, and lots, and oodles of thanks! Made my day!!!!

  • could you upload whole movie in Spanish?

  • @DogRox76 If you are spanish, in Serires2 account is it, but he is gonna upload it sometimes. Ask him.

  • Could you possibly upload the whole movie, and in NTSC audio?

  • @GameStation3 I can't. This is in PAL R2 Region Widescreen.

At least you have in Widescreen, what matters the audio?

  • @Catsdontdance3 Actually, the United States doesn't have a widescreen version of the movie, except for on the laserdisc. If I could get my hands on the R2 widescreen version, I could just remove the audio and replace it with the audio on the American DVDs. Where can I find the R2 version of the movie online, and be able to download it?

  • @GameStation3 I know it, I know it. I know how do you like to have the Widescreen Version, so i will upload the song and movie entire in WIDESCREEN.

Can you please explain me the diference between PAL and NTSC? I think it doesn't matter. You have in Widescreen.

Well... In the Internet there's a rip of the Widescreen, but not in english. The only way is obtaining the R2 DVD, but i'm not gonna help you.

  • @Catsdontdance3 Just curious, when will you put the widescreen movie up?

  • @GameStation3 I told you it a lot of times in PM. I WILL UPLOAD IT IN WIDESCREEN, I'M GONNA UPLOAD IT, but you have to wait a little, just suscribe me.

  • @Catsdontdance3 There are programs out there that can slow down the PAL framerate to a suitable 23.976 used in NTSC as well as pitching down the audio to match as well.

  • In Spain we have the luck for this, but not the luck for good extras and presentation. It hasn't got even a Selection Scene Menu!!!

  • @Catsdontdance3 Sad really. If WB had put more effort into this like they had with Iron Giant, we'd at last have a nice audio commentary with Mark Dindal or such!
