Matt, I have a quick question for you:

I own a MacBook Pro which I use for video editing and school at current time. Now, since I didn't want to spend a lot of money in Office/ iWork, I just use Open Office. The problem here is I freak out whenever I take it to school, because, well, I don't trust my classmates very much...

So, I was thinking about buying a G4 iBook from mid 2005, since it has the minimum requirements I need, just for school. Just wanted your opinion.

5) Very first Macintosh.

But like you said, Love them all, Good or Bad, does not count with Apple in my opinion.

I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on the merits of the contemporary "computers" to these. For example, do you feel the IBM 5150 was a better buy for the workplace than the Lisa? Was color graphics a real or imagined advantage of the Apple II over the Commodore line?
