I couldn't agree more. He is totally overrated. It seemed like everybody was doing rants on every mainstream artist except Trey Songz. I can think of SO MANY R&B artists from the 90s and 80s that sound so much better than Trey Songz and even looked better in their "hey" days. It's not about auto tune, but it's about talent. TODAY, U DON'T HAVE TO BE TALENTED TO MAKE IT IN DA MUSIC INDUSTRY, JUST LOOKS, AND DIS NGAS RIGHT, I MEAN JUST LOOK AT NGAS LIKE RIHANA, KEISHA, LADY GAGA, N DEMS, ESPECIALLY RIHANNA, PEOPLE WRITE FOR HER, AND SHE JUST SINGS. DA STUDIO MAKES THEIR VOICE NICE ON DA TRACK, BUT WHEN U GO LIVE IT A DIFFERENT STORY. DEY ARE ALL GENERIC STUDIO SINGERS, AND IS HE'S RIGHT.

@MrBkofi Now don't hate on Trey Songz because he has the looks and talent. I loved Trey Songz before he changed his appearance, and started to sing songs like "Invented Sex". He's a talented singer. Now about Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Kesha. Yes, they make people sound amazing in the studio. It's okay to jeopardize their making as an artist, cause they are horrible. But he's someone you can't break, because no matter what YOU think, at the end of the day, he's still a great artist to his fans.

@MrBkofi His talent is a gift. You think every girl out here who loves Trey Songz loves him because of his looks. Well, your wrong. Stop thinking every girl is the same. No, he can't compare to R Kelly. But, he can live up to his expectations. Singing live, he sings everyday. He has a concert almost everyday. You can't say R Kelly hasn't sang horrible at least once or twice. Look at Trey Songz's singing Role Play accapella. He sings perfectly, so your belief is pretty over-rated.

Trey Songz does not suck as one of his male fans i think he has talent and yea alotta girls are on him for his looks thats true but he also do have alotta fans that are rockin witrh him cuz of his talent, yes its tru that alott of ppl that arent marketable dont make it but thats something you have to have to be in the light of the media if it was based off of talent only then theye's alotta ppl who would be up but its not its based on bieng marketable and havin talent and Trey has it! @slimjimking22 look men, if u really, have musical talent, den u don't need a beef to sell. da only thing trey songz is good at to me, is SONG COVERS. n dat because he was a rapper first, before he became a singer. shit anybody can do remix on a song, but dat ain't creative, musical creativity is when u write, produced,arranged, n compose yr own songs(like r kelly), n make HIT PLATINUM!, ple like r kelly by his talent, not his looks. he writes his own song from his whole album wi no help.

@slimjimking22 dat's talents, so when dey compare HIM, to r kelly i start to bore, cause even chris brown at his young age, was writin song for britney spears, rihana , and mary j blidge. trey songz, never done dat. he's even sufferin wrting his own songs. NEYO has writin hits for alot of artist, so how da heck can ple compare him to R KELLY!, dat's crazy, To me trey songz is only good at rappin. it took 8 singles for a nga to hit GOLD,plus he had a lot of promotion frm BET. LOL don't even know where to start... Well, I should point out that the lyrics are "Girl you gon' think I invented sex... cuz I do it like I did." Anyway, that's not even one of his better songs, and if all you know of Trey is what you hear on the radio, you're missing out! Songs like "Say Aah" (club track) and "I Invented Sex" (sex sells!) get more play because that's what people want to hear. You should listen to his mixtape songs and if you think he can't sing, search "trey songz accapella"

haha dude that was funny well first off, trey songz can fucking sing like a bird<<<<<he is 1 of the only r&b singers that sings acapella , he sings on radio stations interviews thats sumthing hes known 4 . thats wat i like about him he can actually sing look up his acapellas <<<and he has fucking great voice controll point blank he wouldnt be doing as well as hes doing if he couldnt sing ur basically saying he should be a model cuz all he gots is looks lol chill thn that wouldnt be trey songz

Let's say someone who don't have good looks but have raw talent, But they don't have that person marketable.

dude, you have a good point, he's a show off who can't really sing, but you're wrong about one thing. r&b was good until around 2001, not the 80's (cause in the 90's you had Mariah Carey, next, boyz II men and people who could actually sing), then it became all about the looks. now the r&b singers with real credibility are alicia keys and ne-yo
