@NijiKaze He simply felt that playing bass had become a function rather than fun, he was no longer enjoying it. (Dunno why, I play bass and Interpol's lines are genius) He preferred composing and playing keyboards to bass. Also he has never been a fan of touring and after 4 albums he really lost the drive. Its a sad loss as he really was fantastic, but who knows, maybe he just wants a break.
