I have NO problem with christians. If they believe in God, fine. If they believe everyone else is going to burn in hell, I don't agree, but they have the right to it. But when someone is so rude, and brings up no relevant points, instead choosing to interrupt a logical argument with "LALALALALALALA GOD EXISTS YOU'RE A DICK." That I can't stand.

If one is uncomfortable with the thought that atheism is an absense of a belief, perhaps it may be more comforting to say that atheism is a belief that the higher power that exists in the universe is the universe itself, or in other words, the laws of physics which we all know bound our existence whether or not we have a complete understanding of those laws. The real distinction is that you don't need faith to be an atheist, since there is clear evidence that physics and the universe exist.
