@pyrix I heard it used a port of the hedgehog engine, not the whole thing. Because the wii cant handle the full engine. Whcih is why Gnereations isnt going to be on wii, or the 3DS.

Super Sonic in the levels in a 3D Game is a first. But he can't corner well and he can't double jump, and he can't use wisps. I guess SEGA was trying not to overpower

okay. making it simple:u can only get special stages to get chaos emeralds on the ds version. To get super sonic on the wii you have to beat all stages with all red rings/medals(idk what you call them).

the trick is instead of worrying on S-ranks, just get the red medals and then turn into super sonic. Then play through every level and your guaranteed to get S-ranks

I just got this game a lil while ago, and was playing it. Love it. The story's there, the comic coolness from the old Sonic cartoons seems to be present in the characters (too bad no Steve Erkel voice for Sonic lol). Sonic Adventure was awesome (so was 2) but this is an excellent game, and you good you tube user, have given me a reason to go find all 180 of those rings LOL, forget the simulator I'll live thru that, the rings are gonna be the hardest part LOL. Thanks for the sneak peak!

but i think a discussion would be uselesse because as i was i child, i got a dreamcast with sonic adventure 1 & 2. So my equirements are much higher than yours, i want amazing / epic sonic games, and not that stupid gameplay like "sonic and the secret rings". Additionally i am stil hoping for a sonic adventure 3, if there wont come one good sonic game again, i will hate sonic :/ he lost so much on coolness for me

So you're saying that you can't like Sonic unless it's call SA3. This is a good Sonic game but you don't care about it cause of the name. I dunno why alot of Sonic fans thinks that SA3 will atomically equals a great game, Sega can still make a SA3 and the game can still turn out bad. They've returned to the formula before and the game turned out terrible so that means just cause it worked 10 years ago at the time doesn't mean it will atomically be a great success again.

i owned sonic unleashed and sonic and the black knight, the only thing black knight had going for it was the music, it wasnt completely unplayable, but it wasnt anywhere near good. as for unleashed, as nice as it looked, unless you had the level memorized it was a pain to play, also warehog was fucking boring. >>
