I disagree, if you want to play like you're skating on ice, play FIFA. If you want to knock in ridiculous and repetitious goals, play FIFA. If you want unrealistic AI, play FIFA. The graphics of FIFA on PSP are also worse. It has presentation on it's side and authenticity, but no depth, nothing beneath the surface. PES has far superior game play in all its incarnations.

PES 2007 was the best one, the ones after that were not that great. FIFA actually learned from them and now their game has taken care of almost all the complaints you mention, and it is a deeper game. play 2010, and you will see it for yourself.

PES 2009 on psp is bad, it is a duplicate of PES 2006, all they only changed the team formations and players, and the only thing that is good about PES 2009 is the Become a legend mode, but that is it.

Not to mention that some team jerseys are weird, for instance, the jersey of Arsenal and Chelsea in the game is different than the current ones, those were the jerseys from the 80s. I used to be a fan for PES, but I changed my mind after PES 2006 came out because they simply just copied PES 2006

Good points: Great gameplay (much better than fifa 09)

Bad points: could be a better manager mode-be able to simulate the result of matches like on fifa.

Sometimes it just happens that the you are running towards the goal with the ball and suddenly your opponent has the ball out of nothing or the ball suddenly lies in your goal. It's a disgrace that they delivered the game with online play like this. They'd done better to let online play out so we don't live with the illusion that you can actually play pes 2009 online. It's impossible to have fun online, it's frustrating.
