Anyway hardcore games need to be played on hardcore gaming rigs with 23" monitors not 17" laptops.

I just bought a clevo with same characteristics in september (it has better CPU and ram, cpu is the 2820M and ram is 1600Mhz and also a 128GB SSD + 500GB 7200rpm one) and it costed me 1300 euros, I guess thats arround 1500/1600 US dollars...

I guess the quality of construction is worth the other 1000+ USD ... lol... but seriously... why the absurd price? I mean the alluminium cant be worth that much -.-

@Ggalacticos scrap that, not much better (i thought blade had the gt550 not the gt555) so the graphics cards in the macbook and the razer are pretty sameish.... the CPU on the macbook however is quite a bit better with quad core technology so i would guess the macbook would still come on top.

It doesn't matter, the SwitchBlade should cost below $1000, so why the pay $1200 more for RazorBlade when you can get XPC 17 specs? Besides, no point of having multi touch and LCD buttons IF it struggle to handle BF3.

This is nothing more than a size down exercise project bcos they deliberately chosen the lowest power components like CPU & GPU and "then later" call it a (generic) gaming, but for which field? I do know for sure it not specifically design for FPS games.
