Beautiful interior, but the black stripes do not agree with my taste. I saw a photo of one without the stripes, and I think they look better. A water ballasted boat such as this looks like it would be a blast to have for Florida Bay. Unfortunately, it is a wee bit out of my budget.. I'll probably be going with an older model such as the 26c.
at 8:55- the skipper is for a lack of a better word...dumb those boats have hydraulics to lift the motor up when in shallow water and when one's putting them into a trailer.... sigh
@Misiekgren what he said was the skeg will not drag even with the motor down, a lot of folks forget to lift there ob or io and drag the bottom off off the lower unit.
you just want the best of both worlds. its a compramise between the two, they are not trying to sell it as a sail boat or a power boat but as a hibrid of the two, .
i think its a great caravan on the water that can sail or power (allrounder)
This is undoubtedly the worst craft ever to hit the water. It fails as a powerboat, and fails as a sailing boat. Marrying poor performance to poor performance creates one god-awful abortion of a boat. Still, if you 'mercans want to carry on buying it, good luck!
@doctorclifford What a moronic assessment of this vessel! This is one of the most successful crossover boats that has ever been produced. Its success is accentuated by the market success that it enjoys, and for good reason. So many like the boat because it fills a niche, especially for those that have simpler needs or are just getting into the market. Shame on you for not having the ability to properly comment! I have a 31' that I have sailed all over, but I appreciate what this boat is about.
@Threms1975 I have always admired the simple and elegant design, and the thoughtful layout. Great ideas from a good and solid design. I wish they still made larger boats, too. They made a 70 footer I think, but no more.
could you travel around the world on this boat?

@Tracor3k99 maybe if you packed a lot of food and sailed the whole way.
