  • I meant "I believe him." For the harsh editors.

  • Mendelson is a beast. Some of the comments are stupid. I think believe him. I started powerflifting 2 years ago and understand what he means by sacrifice. You can't lift heavy and party heavy. It doesn't mix. I respect his committment to the sport. I'm in my first week of his routine. It is different, but challenging. I like it. Keep liftin' Scot.

  • What's the supposed controversy implied here? Scot lifts heavy & eats heavy..no controversy.

  • is his wife black?

  • thumbs up for the iron brotherhood!!!

  • Hes my pe coaches son i met scot before

  • there are a lot of people in the world who would die for that food he's "gagging on"

  • It doesn't matter how much he lifts because he's fat.

  • 8:43 ... Arnold at age 7

  • "if i die right this second ,i have nothing to regret "........thats what every person needs not money or fame........ i mean thats all we wanted .......you are true inspiration to me man.....we love u scott

  • Horrible title for the video

  • But a....... You Know.....

  • It's amazing that he compares himself, to an extent, to Coan. Coan was the most powerful man pound for pound ever, WITHOUT gadgets and suits and whatever. I am a huge fan of raw benching, and although this guy is obviously incredibly strong, give me Kaz or the Viking anyday. Just my opinion. Also, as far as the clean living thing goes, doesn't he advocate pot? Kind of contradictory, you know?

  • @mixer14316 Advocate pot? Hes owns a dispensary lol.

  • @mixer14316 i think raw lifting is a better show of strength but geared lifting gets equal respect if you ask me...its just as hard and needs just as much work if not more since you have to work with all those damn shirts and whatnot

  • its not ignorance its just an observation look at that roll under his chin he cant look down. does his wife have to tie his shoes because he cant bend down that far or see what hes doing or does he wear velcro?

  • you can buy juice at costco now? dam i wish i lived in america! in ireland that stuffs illegal!

  • pay your rent Mendy!

  • powerlifters look like such fat slobs you couldnt pay me enough to want to look like that

  • @njduquette Say it to his face. lol

  • @njduquette That's ignorant

  • @njduquette "Looks mean nothing. Performance means everything.

Just ask the next person you sleep with."

    Jim Wendler.

Powerlifting has nothing to do with looking good. You train to lift a bigger number than you did. Wanna be a pretty boy, go to the Jersey Shore.

  • @pisswizzard yea talk about performance when this guy cant perform day to day tasks like tying his shoes or walking up the stairs without having a heart attack. performance in life is more than lifting a piece of metal over your head. this dude probably has diabetes and will drop dead before his kids graduate high school.....what an athlete

  • @njduquette Some people want to run 100m as fast as possible. Some people want to climb the highest mountain. This guy wants to be the strongest man in the world. Some people want to smear shit on a wall and call it art. Who are you to say whether his quest in life is more noble / admirable than yours?

You want to shoot for average go right ahead. But don't shit on the people who choose to be extraordinary.

  • @pisswizzard i guess i strive for mediocrity because i want to do things like live long enough to see my children grow up, be able to move about without being short of breath, and not have to live my life taking blood pressure and diabetes meds everyday....but hey, he sure could bench press

  • @njduquette Your striving to be a bag of shit! You know nothing of the sport of powerlifting so its best for you to shut the fuck up. I'll put money on Mendelson being in better shape than you.

  • @SlyRyRPMC most athletes lift weights to be better at a sport. these idiots lift weights to be better at.....lifting weights

  • This guy reminds me of The Thing from Fantastic Four. He has the same voice, personality and looks.

  • @Tomoten only the heavy weight ones. lower weight classes are often ripped.

  • this guy reminds me of myself,

  • @affy45 CONCEITED! HA HA!

  • 12000 calories a day.... oh my....

  • I also can beat 50 Cent armwrestling and TRUST ME, Andy Harglesis, that I've done it before. :P

  • HAH! Weak, insecure and steroidal bastards trying to fill the void in their syringe filled marks of stabbings in their disgraceful and utterly absurd/disgusting bodies.

I'm glad to be a natural and all power at 13, and in way better shape than all of them!

  • @AndyHarglesis ur 13 ur a little boy

  • @arniebarb123 A smart and useful boy. :P

  • @AndyHarglesis If you're looking for insecure steroidal bastards in powerlifting you're trolling the wrong sport kid.

    bodybuilding is that way>>>>

  • @Midgert89 Sexist.

  • @Midgert89 And I am NO troll, hater.

  • @AndyHarglesis useful to suck ur dads dick?

  • @rjp9871 No, useful to kick your face in.

  • HEAVY WEAPONS GUY!

  • at 0:42 i got scared

  • this nigga looks gross as fuck.

  • 3:02 It takes a lot of juice:)

  • u mind posting the whole film?

  • how do u know he smokes weed?

  • @twhittick he had an accident and he uses medicinal mary jane.

  • @jcac1023 ahhh, lucky bastard

  • he's lying about the not smoking thing by the way. this guy is a big pothead

  • @jaimesuarez13 its better than alcohol for athletes =)

  • @jaimesuarez13 ya for serious medical reasons only.

  • ya know?

  • People here are forgetting that the IFBB bodybuilders you may think of as being as strong as powerlifters...are all on steroids

  • oh shit scotts dad was my p.e teacher in middle school i use to see pictures of him all over Coach Mendelsons wall

  • Hes no athlete hes the thing from fantastic 4.

  • i want this movie, but i cant find it anywhere

  • @JDilla2812 this footage of scot medelson is from the powerlifting dvd Power Unlimited which i bought, in the dvd theres loads more footage of him and his insane benching prob my favourite part of the dvd. the only odd thing i felt while watching it was that scot mentioned he didnt no longer trained squat and deadlift ...prob due to his foot injury though.

  • LIVE life on the grid.

  • The diffrence between bodybuilding and powerlifters is eachothers goals. Bodybuilding = aesthetics, power lifting maximal, functional strength, both will get you stronger than the average man. You have exceptions on both sides of the fence, example, Franco Columbo "Super strong bodybuilder","Mariusz Pudzianowski" power lifter with a lean symmetrical physique, drugs or not the two have my respect and are worthy of example. I personally bodybuild and have achieved strength I could not forsee.

  • he is right.

  • their is no way 12000 calories a day. His gana gain FAT. AT high level he barely gains muscle. The human body grows less and less the more muscle you gain through out the years.

  • ya know?

  • About 7:00 they talk different between bodybuilders and powerlifters... such a bullshit.

  • @byrstooo so you are an expert?? tell us the difference then...

  • @calcetosocko (1st of all sry my english)

SUV, sportcar, just stupid. and after that woman says bodybuilders cant lift weights as powerlifters...

powerlifters do usualy 1-3 reps, bbuilders much more, yes smaller weights. Its stupid to say these r stronger than these... ITS different sport.

This is so american "shit documentation" so dudes say this and that and u bought it...

Of course bbuilders r "weak" on stage, cos long diet, but on offseason...

  • @byrstooo yeah i got it now, thanks for the explanation =)

  • @byrstooo Sorry to disagree.

Bodybuilders train for looks, at the end of the day. When they pose, nobody cares how much they lifted to get there. Its all looks.

Powerlifters train for numbers. A bigger total. A bigger squat. That's all that matters. Its pure raw power.

Neither sport is for the 'weak' (I compete in the IPF up to 105k class). To the outsider, bodybuilders 'look' stronger. However, if we are talking unadulterated STRENGTH, you have to give it to powerlifters.

  • LOL THIS GUY GOT NOTHING ON ME

  • Even his fucking nose have muscles... Incredible

  • it complete changed my opinion about scott mandelson... what a great guy!

  • never make extraordinary claims like being 13 and bench pressing 410lbs without proof (videos) and your opinion has no substance thus everyone will think you're full of it

  • At 8:41....Arnies son

  • Insert argumentative statement here.

  • Yeah Scot was suppose to come to my powerlifting competition in rancho cucamonga on Nov 13 but he got injured at the WPC in Finland...I hope he's ok.

  • i rather look good than be able to lift a ton..........

  • @TheSalaberrinatos nothing wrong w/ that. go ahead look good, stick to your jane fonda workouts, & leave the heavy lifting to the alpha males

  • @lilze96 but in order to be an alfa male you need something more than being able to lift a ton. you should bench press less and read more... and try a jane fonda workout (which by the way you seem to know better than i) because you probably look like a fat blob and thats why you felt offended

  • @TheSalaberrinatos LOL never offended by a troll...especially someone who needs to look at videos on powerlifting to validate his/her own life.

  • @lilze96 you are running out of ideas, because you think im watching this to validate myself??? probably because your IQ its so low that you aint able to think about my reasons for watching this, or perhaps because you have a so low self steam that you need to fight back youtube comments to validate not only your life but your sport.

  • @TheSalaberrinatos The thing is.. you can look good and lift heavy weight.. win - win!

  • @13andincrediblycut Hey dude if your 13yrs and can bench 410lbs i gotta see this on video. Please post video up for us.

I have trained for 10yrs and know alot on training, this just sounds like the biggest load of horse shit ive ever heard, i cant stop laughing. 13yrs and can bench 410lbs with no supplements, whats ur stats, weight etc.

Please post vid for us all

I can feel this is going to be hilarious

    Thank you

    xx

  • You eat a lot of food... props I couldn't do that. I have a hard time gaining weight so I have to eat a lot of food. It's hard to keep eating when you gag

  • @13andincrediblycut where is fun in trolling? fucking tard ugly geek without a life

  • @13andincrediblycut stfu tard.. testosteron starts working at 13-15 years.. so thats whan u start getting some strenght.. and ur bones wouldnt hold 420 lbs lol moron..

btw it doesnt take chest strenght to bench hard.. it takes back muscles strenght..

  • @13andincrediblycut fuck off tard.. u cant bench even 100pounds faggot

  • "A lot of food and "juice"... 3:03

  • He looks like Bill on King of the Hill

  • @13andincrediblycut use your suicide grip on your neck and do us all a favour fucking dipstick troll

  • @13andincrediblycut 13 and 410 lbs? BS. What's your stats?

  • 7:30,youre an excursion,but youre also a retard

  • Comment removed

  • "Hold your breath the whole lift. Sit down and do it" First time I've ever heard that from anybody.

  • @spawn039 A powerlifter told me to do that today and I bench my max so easy. It really works, hold your breath, but only when maxing out.

  • @bouiglob That's strange. I mainly deadlift and I've always been told never to hold your breathe because you have a greater chance of passing out and other bad shit.

  • @spawn039 i think its only for benching

  • The part about the 12,000 calories made me wonder how big his dumps must must be. I can almost imagine it being like that one Jurassic Park scene were they run into the towering triceratops poop mounds.

  • @riveraatc LOL

  • that dood is thick

  • why is his face so fat....

  • Powerliftng and Bodybuilding are sports if checkers and darts are. Just because you can compete at it doesn't mean its a sport. Weightlifting (Olympic Style Weightlifting) is the only barbell sport. I have asked power lifters why they don't weightlift... most say because they cant. That is because Weightlifting is a sport not an activity.

  • alot of people including myself never TRULY understood how difficult and mentally tough theses guys are ...i mean what dedication i couldnt do it ...its to bad most faggots who are leaving negative comments would admit

  • its all good with respect,

    BUT

    sorry enough with the crutches,

    belts

    power suits, knee wraps,

who cares if you do less, man up, make ya work harder

when i left i never use belt , suits, knee wraps,

    there crutches, honestly,

  • He can barely breathe.

  • @brasilcork lol

  • "If I died right here at this table, there's just nothing I have to regret. *smile and nod*. And that's all I've got to say." Just wow. Very simple, but very inspirational.

  • This guy is an idiot how meny times dos he say, "You know?"

  • every hater needs to watch Bigger Faster Stronger, it will open your eyes

  • @13andincrediblycut Yeah I can bench 10,000 lbs. No lie Brah. Get your prepubescent faggot ass outta here.

  • that guy at 0:42 musta shit his pants

  • @tzane94 Lol. Probably.

  • Poor guy is miserable.

  • If you do steroids, just know that one day all of your muscle will turn to fat.

  • @motherdadder Muscles do NOT "turn" to fat you dumb shit. Fat can accumulate

around muscles especially during inactivity and muscles may shrink but do not morph into other matters.

  • @aardvark9100 If you do steroids, you will become fat. My uncle is living proof. After you stop working out even with a balanced diet your fucked.

  • @motherdadder not true man, u cant just change ur diet, u gotta change ur workout setup, diet, etc etc... and i now a couple of dudes that have done and some still doing roids, and non of them are fat

  • @aardvark9100 But at the same time the muscles may become smaller because of inactivity

but right they dont turn to directly to fat

  • kidney overload with protein.

  • His brother was my teacher back home in Florida he was a mma fighter and a teacher after he quit fighting but he told me stories about his brother being world strongest man..his name is Richard mendelson my history teacher 

  • @2012killilluminati How big is he?

  • The more people that hate you... The better you are, because they are jealous. Scott is AWESOME!

  • 6:21 Hatebreed is one of the best bands anyone can workout to, so motivating.

  • 7:11 nice metaphor

  • well pretty sure they just took a gorilla, shaved him, and taught him english...damn he is a beast

  • @ 8:32 dude sounds like a young Arnold

  • thats a great man

  • totally repect him but he looks soo big that he cant be comfortable very often. His neck is so muscled up i bet its tough to just turn his head a decent distance

  • it's so expensive to be a BB or a Power Lifter. all the nutritional needs for both sports is at the top of the list. without the nutrition you will only get at the most half of your potential. i would love to keep BB, but financially i can't.

  • what dvd is this from i remember seeing it before.

  • im dont really respect weak bodybuilders........

  • EVERYBODY please check out my Powerlifting videos!

  • This motherfucker is a giant. I met him at the FitExpo in Los Angeles and shook his hand. I felt like I was grabbing a baseball mit. Dude is a monster, and one hell of a cool dude.

  • I worry about that dudes health... man that's alot of read meat, calories, and stress on the body. Seems like a cool fella.

  • y'know...y'know...y'know

  • ...

  • There's a reason why people steroids...because they flat out work. There's no way in HELL these people could lift what they do without steroids. PERIOD! Stop getting mad when people bring out the steroid accusations.

  • @epw789

    Stay natural buddy!

  • @epw789 Well, lets be honest- have you tried hardcore weightlifting? I think if you did you'd be surprised by how strong you can get. I was able to curl 110lb and dead-lift 405lb at 16years of age without any drugs or medicine. Nothing special- I know- but you can see that I did fairly well with fairly casual training. Unless a guy test positive I won't look down on his accomplishments, and even then I understand that even with steroids it takes hard work.

  • @Ebuverthebicepcurler You could curl 49.9KG when you were 16 years of age? Somehow I don't believe that.

  • @jeremyliu122 I started at 14, and I did nothing but curls for a long time. The bicep heals quickly, so you can get pretty strong arms just by being pig headed, whereas if you did that for dead-lifts you'd hurt your back.

  • @Ebuverthebicepcurler I turned 15 shortly after I started, and I did almost nothing but curls for a couple months til I hit 100lb. After that I progressed much more slowly, paying more attention to other exercises.

  • @jeremyliu122 more than possible depending on his weight. now if he says hes 140lbs you know hes bs'ing

  • @jeremyliu122 never mind i just read some of his comments. lol

  • Very sympathetic athlet !!!!

  • ...

  • I watch this video to get my appetite up.

  • ...

  • Uh, how exactly could he he viewed as a good or bad person based on his bench-presses?

  • ...

  • this guy looks like a nice person :P

  • Holy cow now that is dedication.

I know some guys that worked out at Quads. They said Ed Coan didn't leave the house on days he didn't workout so he was fresh for his workout days.

These guys are totally hardcore and dedicated like no one else.

  • i wonder what he would look like if he got shredded?

  • Look at his head, neck, traps!! Its unreal!! He speaks as if he's having some general breathing problems.. He recently dropped apx 50lbs in bodyweight,I guess he realized the weight would eventually shorten his life.. His shoulders are like box wide,freaky.. The average NFL offensive lineman bench presses 400-450lbs,this guy benches 720,thats ungodly.. Drugs or no drugs he is a genetic freak..
