I disagree man. The Cavaliers had the best record for two seasons straight, and he's been the MVP for two seasons straight. Yeah they failed in the playoffs, but they have still shown that they are championship caliber. Who says that Cleveland couldn't win a title the next year, or the year after? Looking at the direction of the East, I think Clevelands window was closing and LeBron knew it. They would have been competitive but I just can't honestly see them winning it all, especially with the cast of characters around him. As far as how he left, I think Cleveland would have burned his jersey regardless.

@Melhex The only reason why kobe stayed was because like I said, The Lakers had acquired Pau Gasol from the Grizzles and he knew bynum was going to be a phenomenal player. If the Lakers would of never gotten Gasol, Kobe would of had left the Lakers and gone to another team. @adande81 LeBron didn't owe CLeveland anything. He gave them seven of the most exciting years the city has ever seen. He carried this team.He put Akron on the map and took Cleveland out of the laughingstock column. Against that history, I really don't think the local fans in Ohio can begrudge him the chance to move on now.
