  • red rum r.i.p. greatest race horse to ever live. 3 grand nationals in a decade, what an achievement,.

  • this is pretty cheesey but in the sweetest possible way! i feel unlucky to have never seen him in person or on live tv... i was only 2 when he died, 15 years ago! i still love this horse though. he has such a lovely expression i really enjoy drawing him :) cannot wait the the Grand National this year! i hope Comply Or Die runs a good race, 1st in 2008 and 2nd last year. no horse will be better than old Rummy, but Comply Or Die i hope will try! xxxxxx

  • A pleasure, glad you like it!

  • Gorgeous && Wel Deserved LEGEND

    X-Always Missed-X

  • It brings back great memories of my time working at Phillips Petroleum where i was given a copy of the record by the singers.

It takes me back to 1979.Good days.

  • Seftonwallet., Excellent., I remember the song. Red Rum has a very special place in my heart (too complicated to go into here), but who remembers the look Rummy gave Brian Fletcher in the Parade Ring in '77 at Aintree when he seen him on the back of 'another horse'.

  • any chance of knowing where to get this song?

  • Originally on a 45rpm single. As far as I know, only now available on a CD compilation called "Good Sport, You are Awful Vol.2" Try eBay.

  • That was wonderful! It would have been amazing to meet him person!

  • Many thanks, I'm really glad you like the film (and the song I hope).

    It was a memorable day.

  • Yeah, I love the film and the song. Its awesome that you actually filmed this!

  • what a fantastic little insight into some exclusive home video footage - would have been great mixed with his achievements over the actual fences. what a horse, he still looks over the aintree racecourse winning post where is of course buried. No steeplechaser will ever ever match his 3 wins in the toughest race of them all. He got into the hearts of a nation in the 70s. Bravery, Courage, Passion and of course talent - in that order. The best horse that ever lived and jumped.

  • what a song. where can i buy it. its the tits

  • his crown never fell he is still the best race horse that ever lived that song is so umm diffrent lol beautful redrum r.i.p

  • Thanks for sharing that! brilliant what a star that horse was the greatest horse ever!!!!!
