@carrick166 a rear wheel driven 1150kg (2530lbs) vehicle developing more than 800Hp + about 1000Nm (740lb/ft) of torque will run high 8s on slicks all day with a built 2/3 speed automatic. the 1000Hp R1k GTR (for example) runs a 9.3 on street tires tho it weighs 1730kg with its all wheel drivetrain and double clutch gearbox. so a rear wheel driven car that produces more traction (with slicks) and weighs nearly 600kg less @ 800Hp with a built 3 speed automatic will run in the high 8´s easily

I wonder if it´s possible to run a high 9´s with the Fox Body 5.0 Mustang in Forza 3. traction´s the only issue. you can reduce the curb weight up to less than 1200kg @ up to 800+Hp which means the power to weight ratio would allow it to run even 8´s in the real world (on slicks, of course). so I guess with a good tune which allows a fast launch, it should be possible to run a high 9 in Forza 3. my best run was also a "10.3X" w/ a self made 3 speed tune so a 10.4 w/ a 2 speed tune rocks !

@3O2MuStAnG 800 hp will only get you in the 9s, and what does (on slicks of course) mean david wolfe holds the drag radial record with a 4.35 in the 1/8 and 6.65 in the 1/4 mile on drag radials.

I have nothing but respect for those Fox body mustangs. I have tuned my 2004 Gto with the stock motor but the quickest time she can get is a 10.6 in the 1/4.

my fox body runs a 10.223 and my lotus runs a 9.976 both with no assists and manual with clutch

if your foxbody hits 10.7's use the manual with clutch and i bet you can break 9's with ease

I just actually got mine 10.378 n yo ford what do u mean it's all about the clutch I have all my assists off also n manual clutch, but I got a c6 z06 that cracks 9.993

@xdramax92 do not use a racing clutch. use the stock clutch and launch just bouncing from the rev limiter. Run a 3.15 rear end with a 1.74-1.79 first gear. :D there ya go.

How do you get your POV to show so much of the inside of the cockpit? I'm playing on HD wide 1080p and you can only see half the mirror, and little of the dashboard on most cars.

Go to setup, turn on multi-screen and set the angle to about 67. Have to reset the Xbox to get the result
