  • Hm.. My lovebirds love to be together , but when we put our hands to them , they will fly away . What should i do ? I'd be happy if you gave me some tips :> .

  • no there birds u twat

  • i just bought 2 lovebirds they are around 9 weeks. they were handfed and dont bite and are sweet, but they are fully flighted and fly from me. i dont really wanna clip their wings, but a hate wild goose hunts around the house. how do i stop them from flying away from me?

  • Nothing you can really do while they are flighted. Especially as babies. They tend to be extra exploratory. I would do a baby clip on them (take 4 of the outer flight feathers on each wing) where they can still flutter pretty far. It will help with some of the taming process and keep them with you.

  • im not really sure how to do that if you can kinda tell me more but for now im going to bond with them in the cage. thank you!!!!

  • how could u sell them they so cute

  • @LGSofficial Don't get me started.

  • beautifull liitle guys hehe i have a creamino lovebird as well you can see him in my lastest video cheers 5 stars !

  • dontt sell them, the new owners might treat them bad : 0

  • We interview every potential client to place the birds in loving homes. Also, they have to sign a contract. Every new family keeps in contact with us even after years.

  • what does the contract state?

  • that is the terrible part of breeding any animal..that's why i never breed animals. i can't imagine 1 of my guys being abused..but after all, if it wasn't for a breeder i would not have mine..food for thought..

  • hii..3 weeks back i got a pair of peach faced lovebirds..but they do not like to come out of the cage and be held can you please help me..

  • Unfortunately that is a big problem with unsocialized birds. It will take a lot of patience and work, but there will be no guarantee. Feel free to visit our website and email us for an article relating to "Getting Your bird to trust you."

  • I just got a baby lovebird and he does not like to come out of the cage and be held can you tell me how to fix this.

  • Sounds like the bird is not tame and/or socialized to humans. We hear this a lot. It's so important to get both a tame and well-socialized lovebird (that's how we raise ours!) from a reputable breeder. Our babies come right out! Well, email me at trueloveaviary@gmail dot com and I can send you an article on getting your bird to trust you. It can be a long and tedious process, but with a lot of patience and time, it is possible (never guaranteed) that you can get your bird to trust you.

  • Let me know,if you can when you have more!!

  • Check out our website (see link in my profile). We have more!

  • help unsure how to get e-mail from you insructions-youtube-computer dummy-help!!

  • i cant see anything T-T The little circle just goes round & round.

  • Funny. For awhile I couldn't see my own video either. I came here today and I can see it!! I haven't seen this one in so long!

  • I can't see anything either.

  • I can't view this one. The little circle just goes round & round. Sad face.

  • How can you tell the sex in lovebirds?

  • Mostly, the most sure way to find out is by DNA sexing them with their blood. You can get your local avian vet to do that or there are a number of companies that you can do it through. Some say that once a bird is a year old, you can also manually feel their pelvic bones and determine sex.

  • If the pelvic bones are fused together to form a "V" it's a male, or if they are apart, then it's a female. There are loads of typical behaviors, but to be honest with you, we have seen some males act like females and vice versa.

  • they are so cute! im a owner of 2 peach face love birds that are currently breeding and i have a question, should i just leave the babies with the parents or should i hand feed them and take care of them myself?

  • It depends. If you want tame, sweet, playful lovebirds from the start and not have to work hard after they wean, I would take them out when the oldest is 2 weeks. That way they are beyond the feed around the clock every two hours. It is a good amount of work to do that but worth it. That is how we raise our babies (see link to our website in my profile). Lovebirds can be just as tame if they are parent-raised, it just takes a lot of time and patience after they wean.

  • Hello, i just wanted to tell u that i got 2 birds, and i love them both very much. your videos are a joy to watch because my lovebirds go crazy and start chirping loudly as they think your birds are in the room with them. thanks!

  • Very cool birds. I had a quick question. I'm looking forward to buying lovebirds myself. But should i get one or two? I hear getting 2 is better if u dont have enough time to spend, but getting 1 gaurantees them to be more friendly to their owner. I kind of want both: them to be friendly and social with me but also someone they can cope with. What do you suggest?
