I don't care if it's the original or not, it's still a version of the song you twit. Also, what does it matter who the song was written for, you sound like a angry fanboy. I personally like both VERSIONS.. the vocals are far more talented and better from LL and the music and song arrangement are better by SP. Get over it.

First, Leoan Lewis didn't "go on" x factor.. she was discovered there and has since sold out famous arenas around the world. As a long time Snow Patrol fan, I can say I like the Leona Lewis cover. Of course I don't like her voice as much as I like Gary's, but she did a good job.
Greatest song from Snow Patrol. It was the song that first introduced me to them and I never regretted it since. Love the ending especially the album's longer version, reminds me of 18 Wheelers' Stay. Sad to say I just hate Leona Lewis' cover. I don't know, to me she has ruin the original feel of the song. She made it too commercialised. to me, some song are made to be legendary without being mainstreamed!!!

As a long time Snow Patrol fan, I can say I like the Leona Lewis cover. Of course I don't like her voice as much as I like Gary's, but she did a good job.

Greatest song from Snow Patrol. It was the song that first introduced me to them and I never regretted it since. Love the ending especially the album's longer version, reminds me of 18 Wheelers' Stay. Sad to say I just hate Leona Lewis' cover. I don't know, to me she has ruin the original feel of the song. She made it too commercialised. to me, some song are made to be legendary without being mainstreamed!!!

I like it but still I liked it first because of the vocal performance of Leona ^^". I'd say that what's a plus here is the instrumental which is way more rich than the original (and also rock which is soo great xd) . Love both versions xd
