Barkhang Monastery has always been my fav level in TR2. When i was about 12 i finished this level many times but without any bugs ( i didnt even know the corner bug at that time ). At last my fastest run with all secrets was about 35minutes i think o.O

My best time is about 3 more minutes than yours is (And I went and checked all your videos, all of yours are between 2-5 minutes quicker than me)

At the moment I'm running on the PS (once I'm done I'll do it on PC and compare my times xD)

At 3:00, you do the crack bug between the bloack and wall.... the funny thing is that on my version (also PS) there is no wall there! I have to kill those two guys and then carry on :S

I always had an issue with this level where it would lock up my Playstation. Great runs man! Been having fun watching these runs all weekend.

Just want to ask : Will it be faster if use the crack bug with block on the way to get the first Prayer Wheel , that's mean going down across the ladder , without use the water ways .

Unfortunately the crack bug going into the prayer wheel room does not work on the Playstation. It works on the PC though.

Hm, I have the Greatest Hits edition so it's not the real original TR2, but still, that is strange that it dont work for me.

I forgot how much I loved these old levels! They were so huge!!! Barkhang Monastery was great, so much to do and so many places to explore. Great run :) Love the outside gate trick.

hehe lol i remember this game - it brings back so many memories i remember my sister sayin - you cant shoot the people with the spears because they will gang up on you. lol so i found a high ledge and shot one and they were all at the bottom waiting to come down - instead of loading the level again from my last saving point just before i shot him, i saved it again instead so i had to do the level all over again it really annoyed me at first but in the end it was actualyl pretty funny :)

Yes, that thing was really annoying. I could've have done an even harder curve jump at the start, jumping all the way around to the ledge instead of grabbing the rocks. But that crow screws it up 90% of the time.

I wonder what happened to the crow that followed you in from outside. Perhaps he followed you down to the above-mentioned doors.

Nice getting up the rocks by the outbuilding, even though a crow bumped you.

I do die quite a bit when strategizing the levels and 'tweaking' on some of the tricks. But yeah, I wouldn't upload a vid if i die. Except my TRL Ghana run where I used death abuse to get through the waterfall.
