For all of you bashing her, how many of you have actually read her book? It's an incredible story and she doesn't look for pity or anything like that. She knows she was messed up. She doesn't try to justify it. She talks about how she justified it while high, but her story is actually really moving and terrifying.

That's all well and good but there are many people who are severely addicted to drugs and don't have the luxury of getting into buying obsession when they're high. They're too busy trying to just scrap together enough cash to avoid withdrawals and perhaps buy a bit of food. I sometimes think that these celebs, especially the ones who were born into it, have a completely skewed view of reality. They don't seem to realize that even as addicts, they have it far better than most..
Selling more books may be just a small part of telling, but I also believe that it's mostly to let people that may be going through the same thing and feeling like crap about themselves because of it...telling them that they're not alone and someone else has gone through it. To be honest, I don't think I would ever be able to tell someone if I had incest...omg.

You are missing the point, why is she NOW telling the whole world?, the incest happened 20 yrs ago, he is now dead, any feelings negative or positive should be gone, and if they are not, they should be kept private between her and family members, not the whole world. i think she is trying to sell more books, thats all
