  • Mazzone1 Thank You

  • Tino Rossi non é un dei piu grandi cantanti italiani.

E IL PIU GRANDE CANTANTE FRANCESE

  • non è francese è Corso

    I Corsi non sono francesi

  • Tremendous sound . The old record players produced a more balanced ,and louder sound. Digital sound has no umph.

  • What a lovely voice. How come I've never heard of him before? I'll have to seek out some more of his work.

  • Tino Rossi was born in Corsica (France) and was famous mostly for his songs in French, which may be of less interest than his Italian recordings.

  • his blood is italian and his corsican dialect is of italian origin so why wouldnt he sing well in italian?

  • corsican is not a dialect, it's a language with its own vocabulary and grammar, distinct from italian.

  • hello..corsican is an italian dialect based on latin with mixtures other foreign invading influences,,corsican is a dialect just as siciliazn and sardinian is..i know a little about languages..do your reseacrh before commenting

  • "Italian dialect based on latin" ? So you mean that spanish is an italian dialect, or french ? If you go back to latin to base a language you can't call it another language's dialect. As for doing my research, i'm half corsican and am currently learning the language in a book (my mother speaks it but due to French government oppression a lot of people my generation were never taught it in family... now it's taught in highschool). The book clearly states that it's not a dialect but a language.

  • Nice to know you are part corsican..corsica is one of my most favourite places on the planet.

The french government was a big bully sorry to say thats why the oppression to the poor corsican. If corsica was part of italy as it was originally before france took it..corsican would have been considered an italian dialect just like sardinian is to italians...The french book says its different language because they dont want the average person to know the truth that the corsican by blood is italian.

  • well put
